can you for the wire keypad make a value for idle?
Yesteday i wold make a door using the wire hydralic and put up a if then else with the keypad at A and constant value at b. When it when the keypad were 1 the door was closed. and 0 it was open. So if you had the idle value it could be 1 all the time and when you did make the right password it changes to 0... If you understand what i mean.

Why can't you use the "not" operator? That inverts the value. Should work the same..

Wire mod version they outputs the number you put in it when you hit the OK button.
That could be used for a huge username/password system.

Can you make it for wire? I mean, I know you can use Numpad Outputs but I don't want to take up the Numpad ...
Inputs would be:
Password - Changing the password with wire!
Outputs would be:
Granted - When access is granted, it triggers something to happen.
Denied - When access is denied, it triggers something to happen.
Just a suggestion..

I've noticed after using this for a while that I have to reset all of the keypad values (Update them with new password, values, etc) after loading a save with keypads in it. Is there any way to make keypad passwords and values save with the game?

Sorry for this bump, I was wondering if any could help me with this.
I have made a safe with hydrolics and I want to make the safe auto close after 5 seconds, I have set the "Granted hold" to many different figures but still cannot get it to automaticlly close.
If anyone knows how I can do this, please let me know.

Ok, I put it with his password and that... But how i make a door opens when i type the password?
Is there a way to get the wire version of the keypad to output the code which was entered, rather than a 1 or 0 depending on whether the code was correct?

Hey guys, downloaded this AWESOME STool. I have plenty of ideas how to use it. However, there is a problem I've ran into every time I attempt to use the prop.
Whenever I spawn it using either left or right click, it has only what appears to be the shadow of the would-be keypad, and a large error. Basically, I assume I'm missing a model or something, that of the keypad. Thank you for your consideration and answering of my question.

Actually, as I've heard, the keypad code is saved with the server, therefore I believe that Adv. Duplicating it to another or loading the game another time would probably kill the code. That's just my assumption however, and I am quite 'teh n00bzorz' when it comes to this.
