Yeah. So, how do I make the ammo ball fill up instantly?
Edit:
And also, thanks for the super-cryptic coding (not a single comment in ANY standard widgets)
Because there doesn't need to be comments. I was thinking that only people experienced in lua would be editing / making more. All the functions I used are basic. The reason your edited ball is filling up every time you fire is because you are dividing 360 by the current ammo, which makes no sense at all. So don't blame me for your lack of common sense.
Edit:
As usual, nice release.
Though I personally don't have use for it (at least, at this time), I usually admire your innovativeness. Keep up the great work.
I feel that remaking shit that's already been released before *cough*conna*cough* is a waste of time, as it adds nothing new to the table.
I know, but I am lazy and will try anything. I have common sense, but it is so uncommon/not used very much, that people should call it "uncommon sense". :(
Haha is there any way that I could move a widget using number vaules instead of dragging them?
I ask this cause while moving the analog clock I lost it to the side of my screen and I wanna know how to get it back...
Also, is the base widget a base for people creating their own widgets? Or is it defining some of the Aeolus global thingies?
Edit:
You broke my automerge! :argh:
Sorry. :(

Base widget is the base vgui panel for the other widgets. Not what you're thinking.

No =[ I need to make a "Reset Positions" button, eh?
Darn. Just what IS defining the global stuff? I looked in every folder that has to do with lua. No dice. But I am probably missing it because I have no uncommon sense. :downs:
Yeah, a reset button would be nice! :D

One of the other ammo-typed widgets updates all the variables used by the other ammo-typed widgets.
Oh. I guess it is the ammo bar. Same with the health and armor bar, right?
Yeah, you need one that resets the widgets, or at least certain ones. Because I moved one widget too far off screen, and can't get it back. Damn having two monitors. :argh:
I think I did that during one of my tests yesterday. I'll add a reset button when I get back to my home PC ( monday ).
Okay monday it is... :D
When I crashed, it reset my configuration. Does that help at all?
Quite epic! Could you make it so it calls the HUDShouldDraw hook for each widget?
That (I think) would stop it from showing when you have the camera out.
Great work :D
This mod rules. I have my setup the way I want it. Prop/model info at the top center, server stuff at the top right(all of the prop/sent/balloon/etc meters and the server player number and name), health, armor, and primary ammo at the bottom left, MuseX info at the bottom left, and ping and time at the top left. This mod rules.
Huzzah! I found a way to move the widgets...
If you type this in the colsole and then the widget name you should come across a command that'll let you set the position of that widget on x and y axises, but you NEED to change the map for it to take effect...
Here's what I used for the clock:
aeolus_widget_Widget_Clock_ypos 100
aeolus_widget_Widget_Clock_xpos 100
Everyone post your setups. Here's mine. I'm posting mine in media tags because it's 1680x1050 and I'm too lazy to change it.

Also, some suggestions for it.
- A reset button, for when you lose a widget.
- The ability to save and load custom setups, so you can make one for RP, normal Sandbox, racing game modes, etc.
Edit:
Click to enlarge it, if you dare.
Here's mine. :D

I like yours, but it seems cluttered. Maybe space some stuff out, or move them to different areas. Also, we need a radar. :sax:
Yeah it's cluttered, but that's why everything's right by the weapon. :D
Wow,this is amazing!I'll post my setup later.
A cool feature is commands,so if you are in a server that won't allow the Q menu (Such as Noxious-Net,and others) you can still edit stuff.
The command would probably start with Aeolus :P
EDIT:Sorry,there are the commands :P

Good job ;) That's exactly how I would have made the reset button.
I can't wait until some more widgets come out i'm going to flood my screen with them

My setup now.
It's monday, where is my reset button?
Nah, I'm just kidding. Anyway, I'm sure we would like it if you got that reset button done ASAP!
Anyway, a few suggestions for some widgets
>Radar (been said before, but we NEED it)
>Player List
>Mini-Scoreboard
>Maybe some sort of super-combination? Like a full one-widget item(prop, sent yada yada) meter?
>Same as last, maybe health/ammo/armour meter?
Very helpful script! Helps me not look at the timer across my bedroom. Lua king'd!

Nice. Love it. Keep it up.:)
You know what would be great, though?(if it's possible)
Snappable Widgets. So they can snap together like winamp can.
Not neccesary, though.
Hey hunts nice mod but could you make one for fps instead of ping?
