Don't do it, you'd just be giving in. You're doing so good.
Giving in to what? I don't wanna do anything that benefits the crowd he represents. I'd rather monetize on them, keep people stupid.
I mean hell, it's me, I'll at least be decent and release the parts that could benefit the small devs.

Oh, ok. I thought you we're going entirely proprietary for a second there.
After all, what sense does it make to be the free guy when the 200 dollar guy gets rooted for by half this crowd?

I'm sure he's just worried about the competition from a $0 gamemode.

Fuck it actually isn't about the money, it's more like because I wanna develop and this community makes it very hard. If all I would more than gladly charge exactly half of whatever Kuro is currently charging. If he lowers the prices so will I. I need a budget, an incentive and some sort of reward, cause I wanna try again but I don't want it to be purposeless.
Then charge for it, or don't.
We could all get some sort of massive advertising campaign going when its going to be released.

No idea though
Maybe you should start doing shit you want, not what others want. you seem upset about something
People think gamemodes that are sold are automatically better because, well, they actually have a price tag.
In Soret´s defense, Conna bought that title for him after he criticized Clockwork in the old closed Clockwork thread. Soret actually opposes Clockwork, based on what he has told me.
In either way, do as you wish, FNox. But I actually think that less people will use your gamemode if you start charging for it. When I develop something, I do it for fun. I don´t care if I ever finish it, and I don´t care what people think about it or how long it takes to make, as long as I have fun in the process. Because after all, this is a game, but people are taking it so damn seriously that it´s not even fun anymore.
No way! Really? I had no idea!
It seemed like some people were genuinly confused and not just being sarcastic. Just wanted to clarify it.
A whole thread dedicated to me! Woo!
A whole thread dedicated to me! Woo!
Slightly off-topic, but your title is pretty funny.
A whole thread dedicated to me! Woo!
Oh man, you and your sarcastic moments! :P
Well and to a reply to FNox...
If you would make a decent gamemode better then Kuro's, then I would buy yours of course.
It is just a matter of quality and requirements, you think I'm happy that I'm forced to buy Kuro's Coc- I mean ClockWork? I bought it because many people know how to edit it and that way I can come out more cheaper then getting a script like TS2 or TacoScript Classic fixed up for hundreds more.
And since they don't give a fuck about who gets their script and uses it for what, it is even better for me, at least till I don't cross their "legal" paths I am completely fine.
And your attitude changed so much, you started acting like an ass lately, so I pretty much don't think you will do anything about it since as you would say "let it die".
EDIT : Oh my AlexGrist just got pissed at me ! If you don't give a damn about who uses your gamemodes, why do you give a damn about who criticizes it?
I seen your revo or rovio roleplay or how ever you call it, I don't see much changes apparently over openAura, and I wasn't even judging ClockWork, so please.
Well here's the rundown now, I AM going to code a new script, which will use a general purpose base. This general purpose base includes things like the new animations I've been working on. From it, I'll create a new RP gamemode that will have no precedents (That means, it won't work, look or feel like either Tiramisu, Clockwork, Cakescript or Tacoscript).
As far as I can tell right now, I'm ditching schemas, since they're useless. The gamemode itself will be highly mutable. Things like the skin will be swappable in game, and it'll use content streaming extensively. This means the gamemode will have a slightly more uniform feel, however allowing for ridiculously extensive modification without touching a line of code.
I am also building a team. With that said, I kind of prefer the thread to be locked now since it turned into a massive shitfest.

Reminds me of a similar idea I had once. Good luck on your new gamemode, FNox, hopefully it'll get the attention it deserves.
Yeah um, the reload animations for my sweps arent working. Why is that?
Yeah um, the reload animations for my sweps arent working. Why is that?
Because this gamemode combines third person and first person, the same way ArmA II does. Third person reload animations don't always show.

Wish the best of luck to you mate, hope you can achieve it not feeling or looking like any existing roleplaying gamemode out there. I hope this produces many innovative ideas that I can 'borrow'.

Because why come up with your own unique ideas when you can just 'borrow' them from others, right?
Because why come up with your own unique ideas when you can just 'borrow' them from others, right?
Implying there are no 'borrowed' ideas in Tiramisu.
Implying there are no 'borrowed' ideas in Tiramisu.
Implying OpenAura innovates in any way over it's previous iterations. Wait, I got a better one. Implying there are features from Tiramisu 2 that are not going to be implemented in Clockwork.
Don't worry about me lifting anything from your scripts, homeboy. I'm not using any precedents on this new stuff.
I never mentioned anything about OpenAura or Clockwork, looks like I touched a nerve.
u implied it bro
also what a shittied thread :|
i like the thirdperson tho

Nor did I mention that you lift content from other gamemodes, up until now. I don't have time for your silly shit though, so if you wanna just say something get on with it instead of sissying out.
I'm off do something worth doing, peace.

You act like everything I say is "CLOUDSIXTEEN IS AWESOME AND UR SHIT ISN'T" when previously I actually attempted to encourage you to continue development on Tiramisu. People are implying that Tiramisu is 100% original when it also has 'borrowed' content and you jump on that to play victim of some cruelty by CloudSixteen.
roleplay srs biz

I responded to Conna saying that he would take ideas from FNox's new script, since let's face it, almost all of OA's content has been 'borrowed' from elsewhere, then you said that I implied that Tiramisu doesn't have any borrowed content. Of course it has, but it sure as hell managed to be more unique than OA/CW. I can't think of one single feature I've seen in OA that hasn't been 'borrowed' from somewhere.

Oh, what do you want, a medal?
Also, people can say whatever they want, I'll let them be the judge, I ain't wasting any more time with all the ironic and sarcastic comments you two have simply loved to post about for the past year (When I actually was fairly civil towards you which clearly wasn't reciprocal), while at the same time trying to build up some sort of PR with a community that loves to hate you and you love to hate.
I'm gonna instead spend my time and effort breaking a monopoly. Should you want to continue with the petty bullshit, hit-and-run kind of comments, then it'll be on your mind 'cause I ain't keeping up with this.
So long, hopefully, for good.
There is no 'original' dude.
