Hows that update coming along Jawalt?
I love the bodygroup/skin system suddenly, thanks for reminding me of it FNox. Please enjoy these really large links to screenshots. Also, ignore the fact that with source animation's his arms look like noodles. They're from Section 8. Thanks to Tiramisu I could just use bodygroups and skins for the shoulders/head and black variant rather than needing about 12 models..

Just some sci-fi game on Unreal Engine, available on steam.
Just some sci-fi game on Unreal Engine, available on steam.
Ah, so you have to buy it and mount it with GMod to get those models?
Well no, you can only mount certain games (and mounting games from other engines is impossible). You could check garrysmod.org but I usually just port stuff myself, so I'm in the process of doing these manually.
Could you report it on Github? [editline]3rd March 2012[/editline] Fixed, will push in a moment. [editline]3rd March 2012[/editline] Also, don't do TOO MUCH with items because I'm rewriting the entire thing to make it easier and less... icky. They'll be a lot cleaner.
Ok, thanks. From now on I'll report bugs on Github.

Amazing script so far. Although, there are many bugs to be fixed.
The staff of Virulent Color would like to advertise our Tiramisu server here: www.virulentcolor.com Server will probably be unlocked and running in 2-3 days. Right now we're just waiting for Ep1 and Ep2 content to download.
Dayum..
We also have put the fine touches on our custom schema. Yeah, I would be thinking that too if I read that :P

Jawalt, are you planning on implementing pockets eventually? What does your item update mean for item functionality?
sometimes characters scare me in this [img_thumb]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/470863048416314765/758715D009DA4A072C0CB29D797DB418A8673667/[/img_thumb] Also, bug report: - Not sure what limits it aside from locks, but I was able to open almost any door from any distance. Apartment doors, City11's nexus front doors (all three pieces individually), garage doors; almost all of them I could open just by looking at them from across the entire area and pressing my Use key. - Not sure if it was just Boardwalk Arcade's server, but apparently Adv Dupes broke both the server and the script a bit. - Probably reported already, but for some (apparently most) players, turning on your flashlight or lamps blocks out / 'invisibles' the chat. Tested it single-player and it didn't happen, and one of the admins on Boardwalk reported that they didn't get the problem either. (Could be a host-immune thing if Snaggy's host.) - Apparently clothing/item positioning (ex: a suitcase in the hand) does not save at all, resetting upon each of my bodyflinging OOC deaths and relogs. Could just be an isolated issue, as it seems not everyone has this happen. Also, dropping an item while wearing it can cause the item to 'drop' in and thus fall through the floor while still showing the item as worn; any attempts to edit it or remove it result in more and more 'tabs' being left in the Character Editor bones menu. Could've sworn there was more, but MattRB seems to know of most of the things I saw.

By the way: When people enable flashlight, their whole chat and everything disappears?
If you wanna join the server, join now.
Joining as soon as the content is finished downloading.
NOTE. For gear positioning to save, you MUST close the window and press Save Changes. Otherwise, the changes will not reflect on the server. This UI will be changed in 2.1 for a more streamlined one. The flashlight bug only happens when you have not disabled the flashlight plugin. Disable the flashlight plugin by removing it, it's gonna get rewritten.
MySQL? No. But a system for cross server communication may show up.
anything about cross server characters too? thats what i was hoping for... but still p. cool for server chat
by communication he means for data in general, characters and all. ( at least that's what i got out of our steam chat a week ago.)
I finally hit my first real issue. I'm going to turn weapons into items so they'll be slung on your back and such when unused (nice idea by the way). My only problem is when I go to apply it to his back to experiment and get the coordinates, it shows up on his hand instead. It's a world model, but I don't think it should really bone merge being only an item. http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/504640497387057062/54D5D64332DD06A93FA6573A9710FAF5D16D321E/
