What if it just gets placed in one spot on the screen, rather than directly over the players' head? Like 20% down the screen, and in the middle across. That way, you should only have to update VGUI once, although it won't look quite as good.

I might do it in the future, but I don't really feel like redoing right now.
They really are friggin' awesome, good job guy.
Conna Approves. I here by approve also. Edit:
Don't use VGUI :D
WHAT? Someone's still using VGUI?
Conna Approves. I here by approve also. Edit: WHAT? Someone's still using VGUI?
Well, custom VGUI element, with 2 DLabels and an AvatarImage. Edit: Update 1.2 Fixed the lag issue (sort of)!
Yay new version!
Awesome! :D Edit : Download is b0rked at the moment :( Edit #2 : Mirror! :O yay
Holy crap, a nice, useful, and pretty release. Are you sure this doesn't contain a packaged Roleplay gamemode? (sarcasm + you win + this is nice)
Epic, good job
Cool script! I love how the names smoothly move around now! So much fun can be had just moving your mouse around fast :P
Wow, this is really epic. Keep up the good work!
Could you add a switch, so that if a player's alpha is 0, the label isn't displayed? I added it to the script by myself but would like to have it build in by default.
Wow neat :).
can't find it :( EDIT: ups.. found it now.. thanks :D
http://forums.ulyssesmod.net/index.php/topic,663.0.html ( http://www.ulyssesmod.net/spbogie/UTeam1.1.zip ) Edit: :D Ok you found already.
That would be even more epic if it could be toggled, preferably through the Q menu.
Indeed. Friggin Awesome :excited:
Since the original authour is now permabanned, The only way we will get a toggle is if somebody edits this script to include it. It shouldn't be too hard as it already has a fade feature, So Hopefully you can just assign a tickbox in the Q menu to the function to toggle it. I'll take a look later but I'm not promicing anything.
Added ability to toggle the nametags as requested. Menu can be found in Options/Visuals in the Spawn menu. Alternatively the console command for enabling or disabling it is "cl_drawnametags 0/1". Nice. Does it have the ability to not show trough walls/props?
No, and I don't think I'll add that, seeing as it's partly there so you'll easier locate people.
No, and I don't think I'll add that, seeing as it's partly there so you'll easier locate people.
Please can you make it a toggle, sometimes people don't want be located :P Anyways, downloaded, it's nice.
Nice job.
Sorry for the huge bump, but I tried this on my server with ASSMod and it worked, I was displayed as the server owner, my friend as 'Cool Dude', and everything was great. Something happened to fuck up ASSMod, and I reinstalled it, and now, although it still displays the user's avatar, it refuses to display the little subtitle like it used to, and instead says 'Unassigned'. Is there any way to fix this at all?
Sorry for the MASSIVE BUMP but can I use this for a gamemode im making?
