Add the teleport function with save on reload, this thing is powerful enough for a charge secondary fire.
also... 2 firing functions is kinda mehh so i suggest adding something related with teleportation or the model won't make any sense.

Yes extremely tough essential NPCs can take multiple hits, this is a feature since you probably don't want to accidentally one shot alyx or gordon in the campaign.
Striders, I didn't want to oneshot, because that's ridiculously over the top, I did want to gib them on a kill, but I couldn't find a good way to do it while still shooting them 3~ times.

I agree with this, as we couldn't take the fort out quickly enough. Maybe a thicker beam as well, and a new sound, with more punch to it.

Sounds like you have some kind of mod which overrides standard gmod lua, or sandbox, or something.
Damageinfo should never error up.
I was looking at the "What are you working on V2" thread. saw you're mass driver cannon when reading though posts.

Again, those are errors which really shouldn't occur since they're default functions.

In all honesty, I wouldn't mind this having a couple of different fire modes, like a heat ray that fries anything in its path. Or perhaps make it like the Plasma gun from Soldier of Fortune, where the secondary fire would cause them to explode from the inside.

Kinda. The Martian Heat Ray is just that: it blasts you to dust, a very strong "POOF!". Still, I wouldn't mind the Arc Gun, just that I kind of wish it had that gory mess.

Uuuhm. you're thinking of the Dessication ray from the new movie(Which sucked as a WOTW adaption. but otherwise was a pretty good movie) The original just charred your torso.

I just can't hold saying this: If we look at how great and special this gun is in a 1-5 scale, then it's 4/5. Unlike many other unoriginal guns, this one has new potential in it which makes it special and different from those other guns that just shoot bullets with weird sounds (PEW PEW PEW) or objects.
I'm hoping for a V2 of this gun with much more cool, distinguishable features(WITH LOTS OF EFFECTS lol).

Alt Fire: Slightly weaker sustained laser beam that can cut ragdolls in half.
Copy dismemberment mod's method of doing this :D, might be a little harder when you cut of an arm and it spawns a ragdoll, shrinking everything except the arm...actually never mind. Just a sustained las-NO, I HAVE A BETTER IDEA!

Yes, the laser jet, a sustained jet of particles ENTIRELY based on backwards force, doing no damage but propelling you anywhere at a manageable speed, controlled by three modes that you can choose with E+Left Click, from cruising to Ludicrous Speed.

Makes me think of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.'s Gauss Gun. :P
A reload animation would be nice... and a zoom...
