There is only one problem :D, On 24 of july i am going away for a half year... So i am not able to play gmod... I am going to work on a Cruiseship with the function Maritime Officer :D ,and do not got steam on my macbook ;) and Internet is kind of expensive on board... But anyway for the ones who want to know ;) , I am starting in Rotterdam ( the Netherlands) then going iceland, Greenland, East Canada, USA, Southern Caribean :D. Then with the plane back to Holland, I will be back on 9 Januari. I will post some updates soon on this swep but then it stops for me :/.
Gee...that sucks(for fans of this SWEP. Not you). Looks like people are going to make do with what they have until Feburary 24th I guess.

I am trying to make a Snowstorm :) But i can not get the sound to work in gmod 10 :( Any way i now got the storm toggle to work :) secondary fire is now choose storm with text in chatbox :) and primary is spawn the storm:).. Maby i am making a pixel or a Sand or vman or any other storm soon :D

How much area will the snowstorm cover?
Can you describe what's going wrong with the sounds? Sounds are kinda weird in Source, some of them have presets which make them loop forever and you can't shut them up even with a stopsound call, others play really quiet and short range no matter what the volume setting(and vice-versa...)

a 1000 unit radius doesn't really cover up that much. Would it be possible to increase the radius a little bit? like up to 1500 or up? [spoiler]My bad on the awful spelling rating.[/spoiler]
Well, with the snowstorm...Make use of the new particle feature! It may be a bit much to ask but find a nice white particle and set those loose!
Oh that, yeah we had a similar problem with the "click" sound from the Wire STool. A quick hack was to just make the player entity emit a sound like so: [code]self:GetOwner():EmitSound("weapons/pistol/pistol_empty.wav") [/code]
How do you install this?

Now all we need is a GMan storm.
Two suggestions. 1) Have the storm cloud more cloudlike,blooming above the target in a cloudy way. 2)Have the lightning come straight down in one bolt, not the insane random stuff you have now.
I have a few suggestions myself. -Lets have some acid rain! So anyone under the storm cloud will get pelted with acid. Then it would have the desinigration death like when you are hit with a combine ball. -An earth quake. Okay, it may not be a storm, but it is a natural disaster. -Then a hurricane! Lets have Katrina! Terrible disaster... :( -While on the subject of wind, how about a traveling tornado? This would go on a somewhat random path, pulling in whatever it passes and throwing it out in a random direction. The path would end when it hits a verticle boundry. -Here is a new idea, lets have a portal-storm! Green and purple lightning going everywhere! Then have rifts opening up all over the place! All sorts of things going in and out! I have no clue how to do these and don't know if they're even possible. I just wanted to throw some ideas out there.
How your suggestions work -Acid rain will slowly decrease your health like blacknecro's poison gas. A point_hurt can give that kind of effect. -forget the earth quake. It's a cloud... -tornadoes are difficult to deal with, perhaps a black hole SENT that moves, and has a tornado effect surrounding it. -... Just to show how it's possible.
Well, that's not exactly what I had in mind... There are plenty of other ways to acomplish this. It just depends on how much work you want to put into it.

Try making it move in a random path. Then it will be the best.
Indeed, a tornado would rock. As for the snow storm, what sounds are you using currently, a nice howling wind kind of sound would be good, again I have if you want.
I really, really like this. Also, this is amazing as your first swep, people normally make a gun that fires 50,000 bullets with 0 recoil and perfect accuracy, or make a gun that fires melons, but this is really nice, no problems using it either.
In Gmod 9 i was alway's making Environment Entities with Entity Command Suite like lasers and smokestacks explosions point hurts almost every thing posible :) so this is not so hard for me :P
Sorry I haven't played gmod for a long long time. Where do I put this. :downs:
