Well, I was thinking of adding at least one of every type of firearm accessory for each that could fit on the weapon IRL. Like, red-dot-sights, ACOGs, underbarrel GLs, underbarrel shotungs (M26 MASS), suppressors, although not things like scopes because that would have to change the weapon's base.
I have a couple of suggestions if you're interested:
A laser-dot for pistols, that can be activated or deactivated.
Under-barrel shotgun, fit for most assault rifles, can fire three shots before having to reload
Under-barrel air-rocket, fires three individual rockets before reloading, medium splash damage but high impact damage, fires straight.
Under-barrel flamethrower, a simple flamethrower that can last for about ten seconds before having to reload the gas canister
Under-barrel pulse/emp launcher, causes high damage to synths and has a shockwave to deal medium damage to anything else. Fires three times and must wait a little bit to recharge.
Under-barrel laser, for firing a short burst of red-hot death before having to recharge.
Under-barrel gas launcher, fires a cloud of toxic gas that can be both blinding and damaging. If not, you can just have it fire smoke for a quick escape.
Durrr, an under-barrel microwave launcher, capable of cooking people with pure directed energy. No idea how you can pull it off, maybe just have their heads explode or something.
Yeah, a lot of ideas. Sorry for cluttering your thread there :P
Lol. I'm open to fancifulness and innovation, but I'm only going to go with things that I can come up with a pseudo-realistic explanation for. I already have a toggle-able laser pointer put on the utility pistol and the binoculars, which is what gave me the idea for attachments in the first place. I will keep these ideas in mind :D

I'm mostly interested in the pulse attachment. If you can make a pulse rifle with a pretty shockwave pulse, I'd be content.

At this moment, I am playing Reach but I already constructed a container SENT that can store things in it, and shit's going real well. Soon we will have storage, and soon we will have weapon attachments.
Also, I saw that customizable weaponry addon, which I thought was really neat. Would like to get something very much like that to implement on all of my firearms.

Look, I know some of the things in this pack are a stretch, but that's kinda the point: futuristic technology to make it interesting. The thing is that the HHS and UP both have significant limitations, and they both have a mostly-believable explanation as to how they work, so while humanity does currently possess the tech to make such things, nothing in this pack I would say is outrageously unrealistic or impossible. That's all I meant.

Ah, now i get it, i thought that by "realistic and down-to-earth" you meant something that was already created and/or proven to be 100% possible.
Anyway, sometime tommorow i will get this on a multiplayer server and see how well it works.

You should add some sort of mustard gas grenade SWEP and use the molten thermite as a base.
All you do is replace the molten thermite model with a grenade model and add a timer on the grenade.

When you're holding one of my SWEPs, go up to an NPC (only citizens work, really) and type *giveweapon* to give him your weapon. The use them fairly effectively, although they are a bit buggy. All of the firearms will work except the admin gun, and they can also use the M67.

C4 is quite insensitive, and will not detonate being shot or lit on fire. Burning C4 emits very toxic fumes. I know it's a really odd feature to include in the pack, but it was easy and I said why the hell not for the sake of attention to detail.
And I'm not going to make a toxic gas grenade, because it wouldn't serve any other purpose than radiation, as far as I can tell.
I will, however, think about a teargas (nova, tabun whatever) gas grenade that fucks with your vision/hearing/ability to aim/health/ability to move.

If you're talking about the large box of thermite, you can ignite it by lighting it on fire, exposing it to other burning thermite, exposing it to an explosion, or exposing it to a hot slag pile. When it burns, it will kill everything it has a line-of-sight to, light most things on fire, cause ammunition to cook-off, and it will reduce vehicles to a heap of molten metal.

Do you think it's possible to make a way to "mount" a machine gun, or have it on a bipod? That way you can have an even more accurate way to fire the weapon but it will take a while to set it up. Standing = least accurate, crouch = medium, mounted/bipod = most accurate
Also is there a chance you could include a browning 30 or 50 cal as a "heavy" machine gun? (edit: the 30 is no longer produced (production halted 1945), so maybe only the 50?)
I love the progress so far on the other weapons and entities, keep it up!

I'm perfecting the round-chambering system right now, and of course I went too far and added actual firing action sequences for the firearms, so I'm having to perfect that too. Update will probably be out wednesday.
You mean the Browning M2? Yes I'd like to have that, but until I can make it some kind of mounted weapon entity it has no practical use. And no I won't do a WWII era Browning M1919.
I wanted some kind of bipod on some weapons, like the MGs and the M107, but I have yet to devise a system for getting players able to mount on like a waist-high wall. It's been in my list though, along with 40,000 other things.
I fucking love this pack! I hope you add Rocket launchers or something.

I'm having a few problems with Adrenaline on my server.
I'm using the latest svn version.
No lua errors, I just can't use *useadrenaline*, or the sprint and use command.
Same with bandages, and also the command to give weapons.
Other then that, everything else is fine.

1) Does it work in singleplayer?
2) If not, then does it work in singleplayer with no other addons?
3) Does it work in the server with no other addons?
Because the only thing I can think of as to why it wouldn't be working for you and yet working for everybody else is that you have some kind of poorly-written other addon whose hook functions are overriding mine, or there just so happens to be a similar hook name on those functions (not necessarily poorly written on the other guy's part) so they are conflicting. If you gimme some feedback and I find this is the case, I will rewrite the hook names to be more unique with the next release.
Otherwise I've no idea that's wrong.
