don't know if anyone's mentioned, but the graphics drivers on most tablets make it impossible to run the game correctly, if at all. the way it works is simple enough- the game centers your mouse cursor on the screen and hides it. Now, when you move the mouse, the cursor will be allowed to move a specific distance away from that center point before it refreshes and is dragged back to the center. The distance it went, as well as the direction, is calculated into the screen movement, thus you aim on the screen with your reticule. NOW, when you use the pen on a tablet, there's an obvious problem- the cursor wants to remain under your pen/pointing device, so when you point, it will constantly do this aim function, thinking you're moving your mouse from the center to that point at an incredible speed, thus creating a massive spinning action that can only be stopped by either lifting your pen, or finding the correct central point of your screen. If you're REALLY determined, you can play your game, but it's like blowing a marble across a table and expecting precise results... You're not winning any time soon. ANYWAYS, this mod would be good for tablet users, but unfortunately my particular tablet refuses to run gmod due to the limited graphic processing of a graphics tablet. I know some tablets out there run it, so it would be interesting to hear. only problem would be using every OTHER weapon and such... work on that :ninja:
This is fucking epic! I think this will make building an assload easier, too.
I'm going to change the physgun code to work with the normal physgun. At the same time you will be able to hold C and use any other weapon or swep and make them shoot to where your cursor is.

Prop protection support isn't working for me. I have SVN version of this mod and latest Simple Prop Protection release. Anyone can move my props.
Garry has somehow messed up the physgun hooks so I has not been able to test the prop protection. Are you sure other people can't pick up props owned by another player normally with the physgun? Anyway if it really does not work I alredy have a fix in next update. :)

to add to yoshiXcore's suggestion of making it a little more friendly to specific items like weapons and such, maybe you should make it like the Wiremod Wiring tool, where you can toggle the function for specific items semi-indefinitely, like with an actual context menu pop-up or something.
The stargate feature does nothing. I just get a LUA error.

I was going to do a fence related joke earlier, but didn't feel like posting just that. I have a minor bug to report, but it could also be a major plus. I've noticed if I use the context menu with a weapon now, the physgun's abilities show up, though are a bit buggy. Would it be possible to use this technology to fire your weapons AND still operate stuff like buttons? This could be the solution to the tablet centering problem... though to fully fix that issue, I think you'd need to make the context menu TOGGLEABLE, not just hold-C-to-use. I'd have to hold the context button the entire time I play :uhoh:

Also, how do you push buttons from seats? You press E to push the button, but that just gets you out of the seat...help?

Next version will include rotation and you will be able to fully pose ragdolls :)

Two features I'd like to request. Any possible way of getting the features to work while viewing from a camera? And possibly add a way for some props to be entirely ignored, so I could manipulate things from an ignored enclosed cockpit\prop that has a see-through material? I'm was hoping to replace the wire grappler arm I made on my mech with this, but the cockpit gets in the way, either would be a great help.
