steerring in space? thats not the point of this pod. its supposed to be a replica of the pod from bf2142. also, that wouldnt be very realistic for such a small pod to have space travel capabilities. that would ruin the point of spacebuild, you might as well name it as space wars cus you wouldn't have to build any more. that idea would be good for a replica of the escape pods used in halo 1 when you land on halo.
BTW 1a will include a version that launches downward

well since my beta tester is on "vacation" and isn't a halo fan, could you suggest and/or link me to a model? cus i have to reinstall 3ds max and i dont feel like modeling.

Well I have a suggestion for the ODST pod
Well since you cant do the button pressing thing to release the door after you land (more like crash -_-), and if you can, wow, anyway, can you maybe have like a delay untill your alowed to get out, and if you can, make the pod decompress, then the door pops off. (You know, air hisses out and stuff.)

Yeah but if thlaughincheese makes it, it gonna be in like, entity form, and will look like it. Dont get me wrong, the guy who made the Drop Pod using Phx and wire, thats pretty amazing, but i LOVE it when people make super awsome looking things FROM the stuff its from.

acctually i can make the door pop off. i was planning to make the pod do this:
1.launches
2.when its close to the ground it deploys a drag chute
3. rockets fire to slow it down even more
4. it hits the ground
5. emit smoke
6. get partially stuck in the ground
7. you press e to make the door explode and it flys off like in the intro of odst
8. people that are trying to kill you get hit by the flying door
9. you get out
10. kill people
and yes it is all possiable
no you will not see the hands
btw if the halo 2 cut scenes are not pre rendered, i could just extract the model from the scene when the chief lands on delta halo.

SWEET! I can work on sounds if ya like. Im ok at it....That is , if you don't already have one. I made a new sound for version 1. Just tell me if you want it, and you can use it. Btw, the pod can be extracted, but what about the drop chutes that they fall out of? That would really add to the halo feeling. I have the sound clip where buck says "(siren in the background) you know the music, time to dance" I also have just the alarm clip. i can give that one to ya and you could play it when the player enters the launcher.

thats good but youll have to wait for the odst one so dont get too excited. the 2142 sounds are staying the same. i havent even begun the odst pod, ill message you when i do.

k, go into gmod, get into the lancher while the doors are facing a wall then exit. what happens? you're now stuck in the wall. it's the last bug on the known bugs list.
