I haven't played Battlefield 2142...but this is very fun to mess around with. Ever tried being launched sideways?

did this start happening after installing the pod launcher? would you like to tell me when this happens? what do you do to make yourself respawn in random places? does it do that once you enter the server? do you get any lua errors?
i know that you respawn underground with no weapons when your pod is removed while you are in it. try removing every addon exept for the pod

the hard drive was a 100gb hard drive with all my steamapps, models, music, pictures. all added up was about 75 gb. luckly i backed up my music and almost all my models. some of my games like gmod and tf2 were split up onto different hard drives so they loaded faster. progress on most of my addons were lost =[ with my other downloaded addons. my, models, sounds, materials and lua for the bf2142 parachute system i was working on was lost ;_;

Bummer......Do you remember anything about the bf2142 parachute system, or do you have to start from scratch.(hopefully you at least remember the lua).

Sorry for a bit derailing here but; You can split up your game on different hard drives?? I've never heard of that, and I've never seen any options in steam for it neither.

oh and an update on the odst pod, i just opened the model today and turns out that it's not the odst pod. its the drop pod from halo 2. this means it is much simpler and has no window. [B]so because of this, i want people to post here to vote if i should keep the model the same or modify the model a bit.[/B]
modify the model to have a window. if i knew how i would rip from my odst disk, but i dont know how. just mod the model, we want some form of *cough cough* immersion

what? how could i have missed this post? well the lua was pretty basic. i could just rewrite it in several minutes. but i'll have to port the parachute model again and reanimate it.

well porting the parachute should take less then an hour. im just to lazy to do it now cus i made a promise to myself that i would finish the odst drop pod first. what i ment was i don't know how i didn't see your post before.
Definitely modify. I won't mind waiting a bit for an ODST pod.
