Can you make it so antlion's and headcrabs burrow into the ground like in the game?
Yea I've already tried to make them come down in ziplines but they never jump down they just stay like there about to jump from a zip line. I can try and make them burrow.
Do u have any idea how to node a map like in gm_construct because I saw a rebel jump down from a ledge a few days ago. To do this in hammer you need to place a info_node_hint on the edge of the ledge and one at where you want the npc to land. The hints for both nodes must be "Override jump permission". Would you be able to do this on any map on a ledge lower than a set hight? There is also a flag "allow jump up".
Well I decided to go ahead and get a SVN set up and obviously I put your mod into mine. Are you still working on this? Also it would have much more success and more people would know about it if you put in LUA Release main fourm and not this sub-fourm.

I put it in this forum because the Release main bumps alot of releases down
Hey, do you think you can make this work with the Combine A.P.C.? Also, maybe get headcrabs and antlions to borrow, and N.P.C.'s that have S.M.G's be able to shoot grenades? If you do make it work with the A.P.C.'s maybe have it for maybe 4-6 combine can get in it at once to chase down enemies?

The game crashs when I give npcs smg grenades so I don't think that will be happening either.

not sure about rockets & machine gun, but it think the driving is scripted.

And even if you were to get that to work You would have to spawn the apc as the correct HL2 vehicle not a prop, entity, or addon of one you can drive.
Well, I have a npc apc and it shoots at me and enemies without any other npc so...
Only on AI Noded maps though, if the maps' aren't noded the APC can't shoot crap.
How are you spawning an APC?

Well that apc is pretty awsome in its comabt, but it doesn't even move on a maps with nodes so I can't make it work as far as I know. I wish I could though its pretty sweet.
Can you make the combine heli fly around by itself?
That would involve air nodes. I can't remember where in this fourm it states this but I don't think -TB- was able to make the air nodes. Btw how is the download going? I haven't heard anything about this in a while...

lol, k. I know alot about noding maps but I don't know anything about lua XD
I'm not sure if there is a schedule to move either of these if there is I don't know which it is.

No not yet. MrClean how high do you have to set air nodes?
The hight of a citizen is 72. You can just multiply that to get what ever hight you want... Im not sure what the actual unit of mesurement is XD
So air nodes dont have to be a specific height for them to work?
I'm interested to see how you did the npc movement without nodes. I have also done this with a few snpcs of mine, they actually chase or go to a point without the shitty stopping starting effect they do a lot when turning or getting close the the point.
