Multiple files is a great idea for complex features - just look at the GMod toolgun. Face it, LPine, you just have to admit that this weapon is incredibly awesome.
Wouldn't mind a HL2-model version though.

Only the gravity gun/phys gun, and rpg models would fit, and even then, it still wouldn't make sense.
I bet if we used a HL2 weapon model, people would complain and want a custom model, so we used a custom model so we wouldn't have to read that, also it's just an awesome model.

AR2 would be fine, and I just meant for multiplayer-friendliness alternative download. Let's be honest, downloading a whole model at 11kb/s for one weapon isn't too great.

The actual world model is a crotch rifle since it's missing proper bones / attachments, and also has a rather dodgy collision model as well. We just used the AWP since the original view model ( the current one ) is just a hexed AWP skin.
I just had a great Idea, well not GREAT but I think it would be awesome if we used the effect for vaporization and set it to happen on the shockwave trig for the nuke instead of becoming crispy. because in movies you always see a guy standing alive then the shockwave hits him and his meat comes off his bones.
Mind you I don't know lua so i'm not proposing i'm just saying it's an idea.

I love the gauss gun from stalker because that game when modded with amk the best mod for it ever, kicked serious ass. What I don't like is the laser. It looks like shit from the first person when you fire it, the rectangle particle trail is the only thing keeping me from getting this. If it was one of the round lasers from like the laser stool or something I'd get it, but right now, the laser reminds me too much of the rope texture. That aside, good weapon.
When I update this, I'll fix that, along with other things.
Can't you make one that shoots through walls like EM Weapons?
A suggestion, the next release should have decals when all the gore and stuff hits the ground.

yet in the video you say it shoots through the world. making it seem like it can shoot through anything, and well I don't really care if a door would stop it or not if this fake weapon were real, I like it to be stopped by doors and such for personal preferences, like being able to take cover behind these objects.

Firstly, he never said it shoots through the world, in either the video or any post he's made.
Secondly, this was made by our personal preferences about how the beam should behave and I don't really care if you want to hide from it behind a door that, even though this is hardly realistic, couldn't stop even a bullet, let alone something with enough force to remove all the skin from your body instantly.
