Ahahahaha, this mod is hilarious, I hope you don't mind me going and disabling birth when they are too hungry and other stuff (thirst etc). Just as I'm trying to create a sex system (male and female, not intercourse you perverts! :P ) I'm presuming Line 95 to Line 100 is the line to give birth to an egg? Also, the thing states that in trying to fetch the length of "coloniesnames", it only got a nil value, and the entity does not work in-game. I made no modifications to that at all.

An idea to fix the headcrab watermelon death would be to freeze the melon in place on the plant and to only grow another after that melon has been eaten.
This mod looks great. I hope you add that infected system that Warship suggested. Seems pretty cool. Also make it so two colonies of the same type of creature fight each other. Like two headcrab colonies fight each other in an epic battle. This look like an amazing mod, but I have a problem: whenever I spawn a headcrab/antlion, they won't eat the watermelons. I've tried noded maps (gm_atomic and gm_construct). I have no idea what to do. Oh, and the watermelon plant spawns as an error for me.

And I'll work on Separate headcrab colonies next (hopefully..)
F yes! I am totally going to make an automated melon dispenser so I will never have to feed them again! And now I can finally fulfill my dream of having a mini space ecosystem. (someone make a spacebuild addon that expands on plants!)

The different Headcrab Colonies would be a great addition, also, can you make it so Headcrabs/Antlions can eat NPCs (Combine, birds, etc.) as a source of food instead of watermelons? Thanks for the co_spreadthelove addition, and the citizen to zombie is great too.

Fast to fast zombies, and etc., and since poison headcrabs can't kill I made it so the poison zombie has to do the killing. This looks pretty neat man, I'll test it out in a bit.
You should make it so they can eat by attacking other npc's. Maybe if there's a shortage of food they go cannibal and eat each other? Also timmyboi's idea of having groups for the guys is pretty good idea, maybe make them when they have a large population they attack the other group?

I guess I'm just going to have to store each group in a table or something and then go over each one in the table and make it hate all of the headcrabs in the other table.. lag ahoy.
when I spawn Water melon plant from entity tab when the melon spawn it show shadow "ERROR" at the buttom??? or a bug? or to much of headcrap??? XD and when headcrap lay egg it does't hatch (I don't knowwhat happen or it have to much of them?)

Ok iI didn't feel like reading the whole thread so don't say someone already said this. Ok here goes... What would be sweet is if you made a gamemode out of this like warmelons and if you made your own map for this. Like a headcrab team and antlion team. On the map there would have to be some buildings where citizens and rebels (with guns so the headcrabs dont just camp) would spawn on the map so the head crab team could get zombies. and some watermelon plants lying around would be cool too. Oh and Empire what you said was a good idea but how about the headcrabs and antlions are on player controled teams so all units on one team hate everything that the other team owns.

I have to tell each individual headcrab in the group to hate all of the individual headcrabs in the other group.
