although i do have a problem, it doesn't realy matter but the watermelon plant is an error, i just wanted to know if i needed anything else
i'm working on a new map, like my old one (download it now, post no 152) but there's 5 platforms 4 elavated and the 5th in the middle

Edit: You need to make nodes on the next map, without them the colonies don't move around.

Oh wow, I did pretty much the same thing (Both headcrabs and antlions), only I used iron fences 100%.
And agreed, this addon has enough potential for its own gamemode.

if you do another map I will show idea
1.map like a farm with tall grass and less prop (use farm props)
2.make a water melonspawn (automatic) in farm (I don't like to watch them die for hungry because when i build it show die from hungry XD) :(
3.Official map for colony :) like dismemberment mod map official

Enable them with co_factionmode 1
and set your faction by type "co_myfaction [I]factionname[/I]" into the console - Where [I]factionname[/I] is the name of your faction

build at 1 chamber and the center i will make a headcrab colony
the 2 chamber will be antlion colony and then i will make it fight and don't forgot make the melon spawn automatic
PS.this map can do 5 colony(if have XD)

is there any chance can you make it so the head crabs are attracted to darkness and not so much as light?so for all those wandering head crabs they would wander off into a dark spot rather than just a plain sunny one? i don't know..but could you do something like that? :/

Use one of the smaller trees, and have the melons fall from a set height. (Too low to break, yet high ennough to kill passing headcrabs xD)

oh, about the bridge, I spent loads of time and effort building a staircase that works (I'll post some updated hammer images) build one in gmod, this is designed to have separate colonies, not a battle ground.
If I get more proficant at hammer (only started a couple of months ago, not realy making anything fast) I'll build more maps.
make colonies a gamemode, where you have to keep a farm going to stay in the game

You should make it where a year in a 'crab's lifetime is one minute, not one second, and decrease the limit to something smaller, like a hundred or eighty.

i dont get it
the update on 1.2 said the citizent turn into zombies when killed but i put a citizen in with all the headcrabs and when he died nothingh happened is there something i need to do to make this work ?
