Morbus Website is now live. It will be updated as time goes on and the gamemode will be uploaded there.

Looks nice. Also, with the CC, it's legal to modify the gamemode without permission, as long as original credit is given?

I'm at school currently. I will upload the release in around 2 hours.
Look forward to it!!
Today we celebrate the Morbus's first birth day. One year ago on this date the production of Morbus was set in motion. While it did not accumulate much progress in its first few months, thanks to a client of mine, over the summer it rapidly grew and became the seedling of what we have today.
It's been a long journey, one that has taught me many things about game development and myself. I am proud to announce the public release of Morbus, which i hold dear to my heart as my greatest accomplishment in gamemode programming for Garry's Mod. Thank you everyone for you continued support even when i might have failed to live up to the standards i wished to.
You can find Morbus on the website that i have dedicated for it. http://morbus.remscar.com/download.html
I would also like to ask for people to send me pictures of gameplay and record and upload gameplay videos to YouTube so i can fill the website with more player generated content. Feedback is warmly welcomed to the email zachary@remscar.com
Thank you all for your time
Remscar, I've Known of you Since your Days In World Dominance when it was still Parasite 2. I hope to see your gamemode become successful. I've played with you on Morbus, And I know you are dedicated to what you do. I hope this to become the best it can be.
You bloody legend.
I take my hat off to you sir.
I didnt want to come back here but I thought of making a fanfic about the gamemode.......
Good idea or bad idea ?
EDIT : I only asked cuz I needed permission.
Bloody awesome.
My server write some errors when player spawn with custom models.
[gamemodes/morbus/gamemode/server/sv_player.lua:129] Model missing: models/player/Group02/male_09.mdl
I follow to folder and see *.mdl and *.phy files, but where other files ( *.dx80.vtx, *.dx90.vtx, *.sw.vtx, etc etc)? Is it bug or just compiled only for windows? Yeah, my server work on Debian %)
At glance, that looks like a Debian issue.
Not 100% sure though...
Do we have to "arm" the maps ourselves? Just put a uk server up however there are no weapon spawns.

Theres a tool you have to use to place items in positions.

It's linux trouble D:
On Windows - no errors.

Linux requires case sensitive model path names. You will have to correct the path names so they reflect proper path name capitalization. I remember having this problem with another Linux server right before i raged at it.
We've got a UK server up at 193.33.186.228:26780, if you haven't played it before you can download the models and whatnot http://www.mediafire.com/?bkpgv2zjzzd93yr
I have put a 24 slot UK server up for JokerIce with fastdl.

There goes my personal information. All this just cuz I was impatient to hear Remscars answers to my questions while he answered the rest with the minor case of revealing who's the alien in OOC. ( Already stopped )

That was posted in April, how the hell is this relevant in any way? You already complained about this. Haven't people already asked you to leave this thread? Yes they did.
Thanks for help, Remscar. Now gamemode work correctly :)

Fine......but do I have permission to make that fanfic?

Yes if you don't post in this thread anymore. With the exception that it involves posting media that is on topic and is promoting Morbus.
Hi.
I am wondering if you are still holding the mapping contest? I also have a few questions regarding the creation process that i'd rather discuss on Steam or PM.

Morbus v1.0.1 has been released! Please be sure to update your Morbus servers!
@sixAxis
No, but new maps are still needed.
I need help with a few things on my server:
For some reason, when you drop a weapon(or glowstick,) it floats in the air.
One skin is an error.(I'm not the only one that sees this)
Glowstick ammo is infinite.(was this intentional?)
Players can walk through certain props.(was this intentional?)
There are no reload animations.
I removed and resintalled a fresh Morbus on the server twice but no dice.
Any ideas?
