This is sexy and nostalgic. Gotta reinstall RA2 now.
Cool, I like it. But, man, if these had a damage system applied to them, I'd love this.

Like if they could damage props, like Gcombat, CDS, or pewpew. I use the last on that list because it's backwards compatible with GC and can use energy to reload the contraption based weapons. Ultimately, you'd be able to recreate a battle in RA2 from the on-the-field perspective using your weapons and an aforementioned damage system. If someone built a Grizzly tank, infantry wielding those weapons would then be able to blow off bits of it.
Have you been eavesdropping on me and my RA2 ideas man? I don't want to get ahead of myself otherwise I'll get too far ahead and it won't happen and everyone will sadface.

Work will hopefully resume in december-ish. I have exams coming up then I have to deal with some other stuff but once december arrives I'll be a free man.

I just finished adding the ability for most of the weapons to harm striders and gunships.
How about the Chrono Commando or the Crazy/Chrono Ivan? Somehow when i fire the flak trooper weapon it just explodes in me rather than flying off into the sky.
The mixed classes (chrono Ivan, Psychic Commando etc.) are not currently planned, since they're not really unique units but amalgams of the other units. The crazy Ivan is on my list however, and so is the Desolator. At the moment my primary goal is working structures though (it's going well!)
ra2 kicks ass, this should be good. I hope you get some of Yuri's stuff in game too

[editline]1st November 2010[/editline] I have Just dled the SVN and it seems that we cant spawn tesla tower and buildables doesn't have "building" animation like showen in the video.
I wonder after this project is completed could you do Tiberian Sun units. Since the jump jet trooper is basicallly the rocketeer.

I got caught up in helping some friends with models for a map + I got exams in a couple of weeks, so nothing new from me yet. Hopefuly, I'll have some time to get back to this in december. (I added an allied power plant to the svn.)
My exams finish on thursday, depending on what happens I might do a bit of lua. Perhaps a skull for the desolator.
