sad to say but the jumpers still don't work in single player. I guess Garry didn't fix it with the recent update.

There left only Boba (texturing stuff, I don't think he's doing anythign for gmod right now), Ronon (he was working on gmod 13 version but I suppose he took a break) and Alex (busy?). Like Boba predicted, CAP is dying with painfull, slowly death.

Well I'm currently stationed at Forum Maintenance, sooner or later we're going to need to ask something from the members, if the members than can't support us we'll be closing down cap.

well Alex i've reinstalled cap and repaired it and i have verified gmods files so its maybe on my side but more than me have had this problem so it may not be me. We will find out soon right

As it is right now, both gates use power.
Also if a DHD is connected to a stargate it will still drain power out of batteries if the stargate is connected to the batteries..

I wouldn't mind throwing a few bucks to the cap team.
But only if other people are willing to chip in also. I don't realty want to donate if it still ends up getting shut down.
Spacebuild, and Stargate mods are the only reason I play Gmod anymore; so I really don't want to see this die.

yes both gates use power how ever if you disconected power from the dialing/receving gate while the wormhole is connected the gate would only be then using power from the receiving/dialing gate

It will do this automatically, if this thing enabled in convars. When connected stargate out of power, it will try use all energy from target gate, if target gate have enough energy - connection will stay. But if both gates have energy there is no way to do this.
2. As for DHD - this isn't bug, this calling "parallel connection" of electricity, when we connect many batteries, it consume energy from all devices, so when we connect dhd and some other battery (zpm for example), then it should consume energy from all devices, even if gate have just 7 chevron connection.

I have a suggestion for the gm_construct gate spawner, how about replacing the gate on the Skyscraper with a SGU gate? You've got SG-1 and Atlantis gates on the map, why not a Universe as well?

if you want a universe gate just edit the gatespawner file as that's really easy to do.
all you have to do is change classname=stargate_sg1 to classname=stargate_universe and then then the gate will magically be a universe gate
