Rev 349-353 changes: Updated: * All material/model/sound/lua files and folders have now lower-case names, so cap should work now under linux and case-sensetive file systems. Removed: * Old map icons materials (not needed anymore for gmod13, replaced with png images). * Spawnicons folder (not work anymore in gmod13). NOTE: cap and cap_resoruces folder updated! Also it will redownload ~1 GB of data while updating. ps it seems like "move", "rename" command on svn somewhy still redownload files, so sorry for that. pss also i have did it via automatic script, so if something is broken please tell me.
Me and my xfs /srcds are happy
some reason almost all graphics are coming up as error and the icons are gone, don't know if thats me or somethings broken
some reason almost all graphics are coming up as error and the icons are gone, don't know if thats me or somethings broken
Try redownload whole cap (both folders). Probably your copy of cap have broken while updating. @all If someone have problems with cap after updating to latest version - try first remove and fully redownload it. Sorry for that, but for me updating works fine and cap works fine on both systems (linux, windows), so...
@Alex! What the fu**!! If you didn't know there's a "rename" command in SVN that simply renames the files without reuploading them! Now i need to download ~1gb of data instead of my SVN client to rename everything. >.> That will take me another 2 days on this shitty Croatian internet.

I have used it, but somewhy it still redownloading files. Anyway better do this one time and then never back about linux/macos support.
Doesn't work anymore. The stargate tab doesn't load svn updated cap and cap_resources
Rev 354 changes: Updated: * Cap installation checking script now will display error on any cap entity/weapon if something is wrong. * Small fixes after previous update. [editline]6th November 2012[/editline]
Doesn't work anymore. The stargate tab doesn't load svn updated cap and cap_resources
What? Impossible, because i havn't change anything what can break stargate tab displaying. Try redownload whole cap like i said before. [editline]6th November 2012[/editline] @all if someone already updated and cap works fine on windows/liux please tell it here! Because i need to know if update works fine on other pc's not only mine.
Alright i will download whole. Doing it now. I think renaming may have broken it for me. Running windows 7 X64 EDIT: installing but the old cap which i updated i 4.87 gb is that the size?

Overloader works for me now with RD3, thanks AlexALX for fixing it so fast. RD3 is on github in spacebuild 3 addon.
Hey guys, tomorrow i'm going to look what is git and will try test speed of downloading/uploading to git, and compare reslts with svn. If it will be really faster (for downloading from main repo) - then why not create "copy" of cap what will be in git? Like wiremod team did. I'm hope cap dev team would not mind? In any case git repo can be removed in any time if something will be wrong. I just think if git is really faster, then downloading cap on high-speed internet connections will be much faster and easier. ps yes, i'm still busy, but have some time for testing.
Git is a lot faster and in my opinion in many ways better to use. Working in teams together is a very good point too with github: seeing what others are currently working on, work and fast-switching between different (feature)-branches, merging theirs changes into current one to test something, maybe rolling locally back if it was bad, conflict solving, stashing, and much more ...it's all better. I can recommend you the GUI tool Git Extension, very easy to use. And for people that know svn tortoise there is an port called git tortoise. I think moving to git helped the wiremod team a lot to refresh development, and it could help CAP too on a long distance to stay alive.
Hi Alex, I want to say I love all the fixes you have done since gmod 13 so I know i'm not active here often to say what to fix or to say hi (sorry not alot of time) - (I mean also to Boba and Madman07) I have an suggestion if it's possible to grow up a little bit the sound of the beam from the Asuran Satellite with the Gate weapon ? (because I need to grow up my volume and all the other sound in game is too loud if I want to shoot with a gun or other misc sounds) And for the Linux I think I'm going maybe to install it to test for finding bug and also I've successfully installed OSx ML ealier and maybe retrying to reinstall it on my pc for same thing. Thanks Alex for reviving CAP since gmod 13 :D
I can download the entire linux kernel from git in under 10 seconds, so git is a lot faster.
Git does seem faster, I'm now using it for Wire and SB. [editline]7th November 2012[/editline] For anyone who hasn't updated to the lastest revision yet (and has slow internet like me), If you want a shortcut that doesn't require you to download more than a couple hundred kilobytes (instead of 2 GB), download this program: http://www.cylog.org/utilities/wildrename.jsp and run it on your cap_resources folder to set all files to be renamed to lower-case. This could very well break your cap, but what have you got to lose? You've essentially got to redownload the entire thing even if you don't use this.

I sincerely doubt your home connection has 100MBit/s upload. But I do in fact have the evidence to claim I have 100MBit/s download speed. http://speedtest.net/result/2253729256.png
