Can't wait to test the lightning effect on the Icarus ramp. Unfortunately...after the recent CAP update Alex posted above and another automated update for GMod today, i always get a hl2.exe error which crashes the game on startup. Is anyone else getting this? ^^" EDIT: Never mind, i found a temporary solution. Open GMod and wait for the hl2.exe error to pop up. (don't close it yet) Now start it a second time, which should work. (close the first "error" screen)

Also if you running macos, then i can't help right now with cap, because i havn't access to mac os mashine for test/fix something, so... ps it seems like you wrong installed everything. You should put addons into addons folder, and not all files to main gmod dir. And you get a complete mess. For fix it you should remove whole gmod and in this time install everything correct.
I took everything in lua, data, models, materials, scripts and sounds and copied it to to the garrysmod/garrysmod folder. try without uwsvn, I think it has not been fixed for 13, and is not going to be. If it doesn;t work, take out The Swep Pack too. This looks like mac folders, and I think it may not work on mac. I do not know.

Yes, but for some reason, that way has stopped working on mac and the only way I've been able to get wire to work is by doing the very lengthy and annoying process of copying every single file over to the folders in the main folder. for f's sake. You are being really dumb. Firstly, it isn't lengthy, you just need to copy the whole of wiremod, click merge if you are going to do this. BUT DO NOT DO THIS. For you, uninstall gmod in steam. Delete all of gmod folder. Re-install. ONLY put cap cap_resources and wiremod into addons. Then try. If it doesn't work - uninstall gmod and buy a new game. Just kidding. If it doesn't work, post here some console thing to see what the problem is. THis should work however.

But i'm somewhy thinking thats is you falt and removing everything and reinstalling gmod will help f do everything correct.

Firstly, there is no merge folders on Mac, only replace.
Had no idea about not being any merge folders - I have no MAC (because they are sh*t [in my opinion]). maybe their is an application that lets you do it. That is dumb.

For me it's because of Data Execution Prevention, although I don't know why it would be closing GMod because I set it to only protect system-critical programs and processes. Why would it think that GMod was trying to access that stuff?

was just wondering if there is a possibility to hide all the HUDs of ZPMs, Generators,... ? would be great if there was a button for this in the visual config tab.
Update on my situation: I have reinstalled the game with a clean folder. I then added the 3 addons just like I normally would, as expected, still doesn't work. However, I have merged every folder in the addons with the base folders. As I am writing this, I am testing it out, so far so good. No "Something is somethingsomething errors" in the loading screens. And [B]I still get the damn error[/B]. Crap… [B]As usual, wire is working better than perfectly. I installed them both the same[/B]. This sucks, think I'll have to wait for the addon thing to be fixed for mac. Edit: I see rings and the ring dialing pad but no DHD and stargate. I do see the default ramp for gm_construct now though. Getting closer, I hope… Edit/question: Is it possible that I do not have access or something to spawn the weapons and the stargates, ramps and such?

And it seems like cap still have some small problems after gmod13 come. Anyway it seems like its gmod problem, not mine or cap so...
Can someone help me solve this problem with the weapons. Cause i wire the turrets "active" and "fire" to the target finders "1" then "entity" from the turret to the target finder, just as the wiki says, but all the turret do is follow the target with gun but not firing. How do i make it fire?
