If u have no luck, learn to code, map, texture, model, etc and make your own mod/game. Tis what I'll do if neither CAP or a good enough substitute is alive in 2-3 years from now
Referring to what I previously said about modeling the Zero Point energy thing, I would probably need somebody to make the materials, otherwise I'd have to find some online. Creating is better than stealing right? Also somebody to do the lua coding, perhaps Cartman? If not, does anybody know somebody willing to code it? it would have a max energy it can hold, without a resource cache, somewhere around the amount a zpm could hold, or maybe half it. Allow it to be on for 2 minutes with a 1 minute cooldown. If the 2 minute run time is surpassed, it kills within a certain radius and shuts down with all energy gone. If you decide to be careless and leave it on, you deserve to lose the energy collected. OPTIONAL TO THE CODER: The ability to recharge a zpm if linked either directly or through a resource node.
Until the proper model is done, we could use a generator model that's already in Garry's Mod.
Contributed content these days is mostly directly put into cap after a proper review and especially models and stuff that could improve the quality of the pack are welcome but in all these years we barley saw anyone doing that!
I'm willing to try. I'm looking into going into game design after High school, so I could definitely use the experience.
Sure, i could code that thing. I have basically nothing to do anyways, so it would be good if i were a bit more productive.
Here is a little question if CAP dies, will all CAP files be given out to the puplic so that other people can continue it? I couldent care less about the files being puplished cause i need a modding tool to do this shit, and my scripting skilles dosent exist but alot of people that uses CAP and are good scripters and/or designers could continue making new stuff for the mod..

Also cap svn link will work even if cap site will be down.

Most likely we'll decide to give open access to the files like avon did when he stopped with this pack, although much things would require to change with licensing etc, as long as Locutus and Alex stay around I think Cap can stay still playable!
By editing the Asgard transporter very little, I managed to add a Radius input, mainly so that I could beam individual objects/players without the possibility of taking anything else nearby along for the ride. Is this something that would interest people?
Yes, agreed. Didn't the Asgard teleporter used to have this function back in the aVoN days?

I think it didn't.

alright, I'll start modeling it this weekend then. Like i said previously, for now a basic generator model that's already in gmod could be used until the model's done.

It's not done yet, this is just the basics model, with no materials on it. I know I said I'd work on it during the weekend, but I got bored. The orange Prism is to represent the player's basic size.
