I've done that, but the dialing supergate just flickers and makes a fail sound. There's no connection or dialing animation. I haven't been able to use the supergate since the update a while that gave us Model clipping for the gates. I'll post a video tomorrow if you need me to. I'd do it tonight before I go to bed but gmod is being stupid right now.
Is there a way to remove the white bg on the ZPM mouseover? And also I can't see the vortex after dialing a stargate.
HonorGuard, for 99% it's happen because you are using LS/RD 2 or you don't have power near gates. There is no other explanation, as it works for me just fine.
TheEyes, use DX9 instead of DX8.

Might want to add this to the OP - If you want the kawoosh but you are running in Hardware DirectX 8.1 with software 9.0, add "-dxlevel 90" to your launhc options.

It won't let me connect the supergates to life support and my life support stuff is up to date.
Then i don't know. Maybe some gmod update already broke it. I will test it later when i will have time.
Btw. supergate cannot be connected to life support system.

It must be broken or something because I just tried it with life support and resource distribution disabled and it still didn't work. :\

Well,...i have been working on it quite a while ago in 3dsMax.
The raw model was already done, so there was only post productive work left in order to texturize it,... but shelved this little project of mine after a computer crash. <_<
I would have to search a few storage devices first in order to find the wip file (don't have it on my local pc atm), but if anyone would be willing to work on it, i'd gladly give them the files.
Can we exepect a port I mean only a port or maybe later more things on Gmod beta 13 ?

Hi i would like to report an annoying bug:
On a multiplayer server, if you lag(for instance someone has build a big station with spacebuild enhancement pack, flys arround but does not have it properly welded/no-colidded, you lag. What often happens is when the stargate closes/opens when you are lagging is that your game crashes. Again, this is only when their is lag, and the chance of crashing is highly reduced when the game is running smooth. Could you guys fix this? Since its really annoying!

I have several annoying bugs:
- MCD doesn't make ZPMs. It sits at the choose item screen when I click create with the ZPM selected.
- Destiny Shuttle spams "null entity" errors after the owner disconnects.
- Shield core spams timer errors.
- MALP errors out when a stargate opens.
can u please bring back the Aurora. its smaller then the hatak and there are maps that will fit on. PLEASE BRING IT BACK !!!!!!

The model is way to bad to put it back, unless we get a new one this will be a no go.

btw if you have kept the Daedalus then why cant you bring back the Ha'tak and the Aurora. they are the same size so rethink your decision please take it in consideration

We didn't kept the Deadalus, Madman brought it back for a this specific reason that to many people complained about it.
And I'm still saying that was bad idea. Bud SuperLama said his infinity map works perfect on Gmod 13 so finger crossed for full size Daedalus.

There are a couple of solutions, but I don't think you'll like them:
1. Remove the hatak.
2. Set your graphic setting lower.
3. Upgrade your pc.
Mostly what izi said just not spawn it or update your pc.
I can't not spawn it, and actually I found the cause of the lag - the ship hangar is causing it more. And plus my PC can run garrysmod at max normally with lots of other stuff.
are any of the coders in the team in the GMOD Beta to see what has changed to be ready for full release? Or you going to do that once it officially comes out.
Any chance of getting the shields fixed so they can be duped correctly?
