Hm, I have CAP installed with LS3, RD3 and CAF, yet the gates does not seem to require any power sources, is there something that needs to be toggled or is this function not in anymore? I saw it mentioned earlier in the thread.
Check your config of them: qMenu->Tools Tab->Stargate->Config->Stargate

Seems like activating the server-side convar did the trick (Even though this is in single player, the SP convar was active, but not the server one). Hm, didn't even know about this menu, thanks.

Is it possible with the Destiny doors to have only the doors and not the frame as an entity? I want to have a button wired to the door which opens and closes it, but not the door frame.

If you watch sg-1 and you listen to the stargate turning off and you compare the sounds from cap and the show you will hear the diffrence in the sounds
