There's a reason I don't do things certain ways. The way you've done things screw things up in MP. Not to mention the bugs are fixed for Rev. 300.

Oh, it does screw things in multiplayer? Well, i fixed it FOR multiplayer. It's hosted on mijyuoon's server, no bugs with it.
ps. Is your GMod screwed? Everytime i start it and start moving my game crashes, mine and mijyuoons too. I think update broke it again.

On topic: I'm about done with adding features for Rev. 300. Now I just want to fix bugs which no one seems to mention (How the bloody hell can I fix them if no one tells me?). So list the bugs below. Some may not be fixed like the shield core and railgun as I have no clue what madman was doing in the code.

It seems we also need a horizon_shock material as well (For when the gate takes damage).
If you want you can put it in the SVN.
You don't need horizon_shock material. You can use the one from materials/sgorlin (the one from SG1 or Atlantis gate), it's no point in making new because they all look the same.

The current SGU Event Horizon looks better so don't change it...

better to just be redone instead of editing a EH for the current stargates. btw, not ALL event horizons are the same. the universe eh is supposed to have more ripples because it's an older model than pegasus gates. also needs to be shinier. idk if it's older than the milky way gates. agreed sg1 gates also need more ripples

who really needs this new effect. The current one is fine. If development for this addon was quick and they had all the people needed, then by all means, but seriously, more important things need to be done, like bugfixes.
Really though, who opens the gate and spends there time inspecting every inch of the horizon, saying (ooh, it needs 59 more ripples) or (ooh, it ins't detailed enough) who cares, just go through the gate. Its not a beauty object that you buy your girlfriend and it looks nice, it is meant to teleport people to a different planets. I think thats cool enough alone then needing it to look detail prefect.
