Althouh I do agree it isnt nice messing with other peoples stuff.
why use bombs when you have a battlecruiser cloaked in orbit?
uncloak, raise shield, put weapon batteries (naq gen mk2) online, fire drones, eject active mk2 naq gens, shield down cloak move away

Because again, this is incaurate. Anyway, that is the same as blowing everyone up - using naq gens, they are just as big as nukes or naquadah bombs.

I have finished a adv dupe of a fully working horizon missile with the mini missiles seeking targets, but when it hits, it doesn't explode, sometimes it kills them because it hits them. why are the missiles in the horizon missile not exploding?

Adv dupe is damn complicated.
i just tried it making it again but without duping it, when the missiles hit they did not explode.

Because it was never intended to go trought gate. The purpose of the horizon missile is to being launch and destroy replicator cities.
I did read the OP and the wiki, but is aVoN's Stargate addon required for this? OP says it isn't while the wiki says it is, not sure which is correct and I don't really want to read through 60 pages of thread to see if anyone else has asked, sorry if this has been asked before. Thanks.

from what you guys have said, lua seems so rubbish and complicated, why code a game in it??? Logically, I would have thought any sold entity would just go through the gate, but no, it gets broken. Shouldnt a gate just transport an entity to another planet, ignoring what the ent is for. It doesnt make any logical sense. And the shield core why cant it be like this
amateur lua code idea:
if - anything touches shield - play this sound - do this effect.
ignore noclip
if ignore owner is checked - ignore all owner ents and shots from first if.
see. Why cant coding just be easy and make sense. Another example - welding. Even when you no-collide it and move it fast, it still come apart when moving it with physgun, this doesnt make sense. ofc there is lag, but surely if - it is welded to this - dont move no-matter what.
Rate me dumb and call me amateaur, but really, this seems stupid. Why didnt they c++ code it. From what people say, that sounds alot better for use.
