I'd like to have some fun coding this shit, and at the same time, do something that the majority of you will appreciate, and since whenever I'm trying to follow the GMod spirit as much as possible by making stereotypical weapons with unexpected effects, I feel like I'm failing horribly. I'm even a little disappointed by the global opinions Bomberminge got, because actually, no one seems to care about the fact that I decided to build all the bombs out of HL2 props, although this is one of the most important aspects of the gamemode to me. Well, maybe I'm an horribly egocentric bastard, but I can't consider whatever I do as "good" as long as the majority does not like it. To the people who actually like what I'm doing, thanks a bunch, but I have a feeling that you are part of a minority here. They find useless bullshit like Kermite's pack, download it, and are satisfied with what they get (a bunch of 5-second SWEPs.) There's tons of good gamemodes, good SWEPs, and good stools released that have received nearly no attention whatsoever. What happened to Parasite? The Stalker? Phyght? Why is the Doom Weapons Pack barely breaching 300 downloads after three days while shit like Kermite's pack has [b]over 200,000 downloads[/b]? Why is unique shit like this SWEP, the Holy Grenade, etc all being overlooked in favor of 5-second template cut and pastes? The answer is simple: Kids don't care about originality, and they never have. It doesn't matter how horribly coded something is or how much of a ripoff something is to them. You're trying to appeal to an audience, a playerbase, that has ages averaging around 13-15 years old. I know for a fact that when I was a kid, I played a lot of games that now I'd consider to be nothing but complete trash. Many of the games I got I only got because they had specific names tied to them or the company in question had some kind of notability, and as kids, we don't often notice the shortcomings of these games until years later when we finally look at them again and see all of the bad aspects of them. We used to make shit like Geocities sites, sig tags, horrible sex poses (lord have mercy), and related when we were young (or in the case of the last one, young[b]er[/b]), and back then, we thought that shit was [i]good[/i]. Anyone can and would admit this. It's the simple fact that it really doesn't take much to keep a child or early teenager entertained. If all people had the mindset adults do when it comes to what it takes to be entertained, babies wouldn't be playing with rattles or dolls, kids wouldn't be happy just getting that new copy of GENERIC FOOTBALL GAME 500, and people sure as hell wouldn't be satisfied with [i]super gun pack v5.2 expert edition[/i]. I'll just stop here and mention that you really shouldn't be worried about if your shit isn't as popular as some of the shitty generic addons out there. It's that simple. So yeah, I'll probably make a series of those silly SWEPs, all based off HL2 weapons, and overused concepts, I already have another one in the works right now, and it has a much more advanced code for handling those custom viewmodels, as a result, it will probably have some primitive custom viewmodel animations, but hopefully they will look good enough.

Amazing. I admit, I like most realistic guns, for some bizzare reason, but this gun just made me cry. Tears of joy, that is. I always thought that there needed to be some very original stuff on gmod.org, not just the same old unoriginal model copying piles of shit. This is uber-original. It is very unique, somewhat stupid (in a good way), and oozes awesome. Keep on making sweps and stuff, buddy, you're great at it! Also, as an idea, perhaps a garbage can-non? An RPG with a garbage can on the model, and fires various things. Like that Fo3 gun that fires anything, only far more awesome. This gets my download!
