Clearly, I did read the later half, that's why I said "if you're inexperienced in lua".
Just cause someone wants to start learning lua doesn't necessarily mean whatever they produce will have already existing copy & pasted code. Someone starting to learn lua / is inexperienced in lua isn't basis enough to accuse them that they're going to steal or copy & paste code for whatever they're trying to do. It's a rude and disrespectful thing to assume.

Adapting this gamemode probably isn't the best way to learn lua, there are plenty of basic skeleton gamemodes available that exist exactly for that purpose, I am generally referencing to thing's like HL2, a great gamemode/schema in my opinion, and there's tonnes of server's that call themselves "custom" when all they've really done is copy and pasted aspects that are already within the gamemode to change it a little bit, I get that it's rude and disrespectful, and I'm sorry, but I still think my point is generally valid'
