I don't really get the point of this, all the youtube video has shown is L4D 1 in garrys mod? If I wanted to play L4D I would start up the game. Can you show us more then just doing a L4D mission?

Nazban, it's not rocket science. All you have to do is read the thread; that way others actually find useful things rather than finding a page full of blind assumption.
I've read the full thread and see a bunch of rp features that I have not seen with other rp modes and scripts, lots of stuff looks great, I'm talking about someone showing some game play footage of people using those RP instead of doing a L4D mission, don't get me wrong I can't even get a base game mode working right now with timers I'm not here bringing the developers down or saying it's stupid but the L4D run through I can even accomplish by spawning the models on a L4D map and running through with fraps.
Lot's of work has gone into this project show us your hard work! is all I'm saying.
As exciting as watching a video of two people typing back and forth would be, I think I'll pass

Garry is too fast to play with. He take away mods from us before we are trying to enjoy it.
I'm seriously impressed by how good the zombies look. The gameplay rules make it feel quite a bit like DayZ as well. Good work, shows a lot of promise if combined with elements of ZS. (i.e. barricading)

I'm pretty sure he took the zombie models/animations from No More Room in Hell, if you havent heard of it, it's a very good mod for Half Life 2

It was probably reported already, but when you walk into a prop placed by the editor it can send you flying. Which resulted in my character flying overheard of four other players before plummeting into the ground and dying.

Except that's the one that says "The Walking Dead RP" in the hostname which is full of autistic eleven year old children yelling "OMG DAT HOSTNAME SES TEH WOKING DED DAT MEENZ ITZ A GUD SERVAR". Regardless, I might join. It just pisses me off that if I decide to put "Infected Roleplay" or similar in my hostname, dumbfucks will join the other server just because it has the name of a popular television series in it.

Love the gamemode but I wish there was an addon for people to set up maps clientside.

I thought I'd reply to this since I know the owner. The server is based off the The Walking Dead, which is the show you've stated above. You don't need to insult his players, I play regularly there and there aren't any autistic eleven year olds, or 'dumbfucks' for that matter.

That may be your opinion on things done there, but I've heard nothing but bad things from several of my friends who play on there. Perhaps you just aren't around during those times? Besides, this thread is for the discussion of the gamemode, not a server running it.

Besides, the only thing related to the walking dead on the server is some people calling them zombies walkers. You wont see anyone running around as "Rick Grimes" spamming "where r carl n lori i wak up in hosptal :'(".
I did see someone mention walkers when I got in.
Also, named my character "Bob Smith"

I didn't actually mean they were dumbfucks or whatever. I was just stating that I find it extremely irritating that people are joining your server because the hostname is different. You can get the exact same roleplay in another zombie roleplay server. I'd like to know what's so different in your server from another zombie roleplay server. I'm just saying people are biased as fuck. I could run a server just as well (if not better) than you, but you'll end up getting over-populated because of your hostname and no one will play on my server. It makes things unbalanced as one server contains all the roleplayers that enjoy zombie roleplay. Sorry if it came out that way, but it just irritates the shit out of me.

I've tried running this in my singleplayers gmod and also on my srcds server. I've tried changing the name of the folder and text to all lower case also still no luck I cannot get this gamemode working what have I missed here?
In my garrysmod on my pc it does not show in the menus on my server "Couldn't change active gamemode - 'vein'/'Vein' not found

Since we aren't allowed to continue this conversation here, please add the owner's Steam to speak with him about it. I've stated above, it isn't some generic zombie roleplay with military running around and arresting people and powergaming all over. It's based off of the Walking Dead, as I've stated above, but it's not made to attract people to our server instead of yours. I am very, very sorry if it appears that way, but it's more of the plot line, not to win over players.

This happened to me, I deleted the Vein in gamemodes and redownloaded it, but in all lowercase. It worked then, but as you've said, you tried renaming.
