How might one start off this game? So far I just start empty with nothing, can't really craft things find things etc.

Very awesome gamemode you've got right here, this has so much potential!
FYI
To those of you that can't open the mapeditor (like I did), it's bound to your "Context Menu" (open up keybindings and make sure you've bound "Context Menu" to a button, that'll be the button to open the mapeditor!). :)
Also, I'm having issues with the character creation, I could make my first character just fine, but each time I restart it, there's no options to delete said character or make new characters!
Maybe I'm blind or perhaps I got something wrong?
Or is this just a bug?

Press F4 to delete/select characters
DoorHealth isn't networking properly and I can't figure out why - it works for me
Navigation error is because you did't install the module properly. No zombies spawn automatically because there's no navigation module.

Nope, still waiting on the navigation fix.
When do you think basic stuff will be up for basic testing/playing? I know you had another map on before but I was also wondering what you were doing on Construct.

Would you be able to create your own AI director or spawn system? So you don't have to rely on that module?

The AI director is based off of the navigation module, there'd be no point in Disseminate coding it to work with the source navigation shit because the module will eventually be updated anyway.

There's no way for me to figure out where I can spawn zombies (efficiently) on the fly. I can't just say 'spawn a zombie on the ground' to lua. That's why admins have to generate navmeshes, so that I can literally say 'pick a random ground point where nobody's looking, where there are no obstructions etc'

Running the server on Linux through Elpis Host, but because update 152 breaks the Linux dedicated server, I'm using older binaries.
Has Vein been updated to run without the nav module?

Its not currently working until gm_navigation module is updated.
You can play on already generated maps, like vein_mercy and gm_construct. But you cannot set up your own maps currently.
