Maybe, it's a good idea. Right now the rain's pretty visible - the compression from the video just kind of... removes the majority of it.
I think you forgot the rifle models and sounds in the svn, but I like the idea of a military rifle!
You should add just a regular civilian hunting rifle. They are pretty common.

I have a hunting rifle, and afew other weapons/features I've added to my own version, was just suggesting its a good addition to vanilla Vein. :)
I added some fun stuff such as melee weapons have a chance to stumble zombies, sprinting into zombies full speed stumbles them as well (or has them quickly grab you), Throwing props at zombies stumbles them, tons of loot locations, and zombies break down doors in my version.
I'm waiting for gm_nav to be updated before I bring up my own server.
I'm planning to add a civilian scoped rifle of some kind and that'll be that.
Have you thought about adding functional clothing? Like running shoes make you exert less energy when sprinting. Raincoats prevent sickness when its raining, but u exert more energy sprinting. Backpacks increase amount able to carry. These are just some examples. I think it could add to the imerrison pretty nicely :)

You should try using 3D particles for the rain, it makes the rain itself look a whole lot nicer when you look up into the sky at it, and lets you make the rain splashes align with the normal of the collision.

I have Ass Mod, user.txt is shit. And I know how to run servers, but your gamemode doesn't allow people to use any of the admin commands.
Revolutionary idea: maybe Vein isn't compatible with Ass Mod. Which is why Diss told you to put your Steam ID in users.txt. Shock horror.

Not really. If his server is less stable, more laggy, more buggy etc. than other servers, people won't play on it.
Or maybe his admins/events/storylines will be far better than anyone else. Who knows.

I currently run a Metro 2033 RP and get about 15 to 20 people a day. All Serious RP. Never let the Metro Dwellers get bored. I just wanted to use a better script then Nexus.
