Ok, me being stupid as I am, I have to say what this sounds like.
Let's say I write a trace function in a SWEP or something and then you copy it because it's easier then typing it out. WHO CARES HONESTLY?
The freaking code copied was a simple message indicator...he could have pulled it from anywhere, and so could you. That waterdrip notification shit is in most of the STOOLS that Garry has made so...what the hell?

That message script you used is globally used. Conna, just becuase you use it in a lot of your scripts doesn't mean it's yours. It's used in hunts mod, stacker tool, and some of Garry's tools too. Why does it matter really?

I made that function. That function isn't globally used; if it is they got if off me.
I made the STOOL:Message() function and use it in all my scripted tools, because it's just an easy way of adding new hint-style messages. I'm not too bothered about 6 lines of code.
I was just annoyed at how he directly ripped it without even a comment saying made by Conna.

As many have agreed here; I have nothing to be sorry for. I was simply asking for you to put credit where it is due; and you refused.
This should just be forgotten about now; we've had our argument and if LPine wants to be mature and courteous then he can add the credit, otherwise I just say we stop.

Let's just think about who is in the wrong here. All I asked, nicely actually in my first post; was that credit was added.
He refused, people agreed with me, then it led to a bigger argument mainly involving LPine versus everyone.
I, like I have stated before, think we should stop this argument now. And if LPine wants to add credit and show some common courtousy then he can, if not, then we know what kind of person he is is.
I stop arguing here; as I don't want it to escalate and become more of an issue than it really is.
So, if I say you were just whining like a little baby because someone decided they thought your code was worthy enough to use in their own (Be it two lines or 500) and you proceeded to tell SARCASTICALLY ask them for credit for something you made, you wouldn't argue any more? :v:
