You dont have to use wire. All I did was touch the chair to the weapons and they worked fine. Even the ori sat worked fine, couldnt see the timer tho.

I believe most of us "regular" users wish for you to continue. That model is pretty much just for looks, and will never ever have an interior, while yours may one day have an interior. Also, that model's kind of old =/
The Ori satellite beam effect does look a lot nicer than it did before.

Yea, work on ur version. This is good, but there is no hangars, no ring room etc...
Svn updated :) What's new:
Ori Satellite now works better. New effect. It can kill ppl and NPC without problems. One shoot takes 50% of shield.
Asgard Beam is really less laggy, especially during shooting shield. It need 8 sec to reload so be patient. 5 shoots should kill shield (it can be changed by admins).
And more bugs, have fun ;) And I will think on something else, some cool weapon (it's a satellite);]

I dont know if this is related to these weapons or a problem with my gmod, but if I use the weapons to much I get an infinite loop in the lua effect and all lua effects disappear.

the asgard beam is the way it should be now.. the only thing you need to change on it is the time it takes to shoot should be much faster and the damage should be greater 3 shots to take down a sheild and a couple to kill target
the ori satilite the sheilds will engage then drop.. and the beam dosent shoot when fired u just hear the sound.. the shooting should should be much faster and not 2 minutes to recharge.. the shield should stay up and not drop instantly..
but other than that everything is great....
Nah, asgard beam need time to load. Maybe they fired it shot by shot, but on ship u have 6-8 asgard emitters. U can set, how much shoots will kill shield, look in folder and find file advanced_users.txt
Hmm, did u updated it well? Because now shield works without any problems. Also everyone saw the beam. Again, u can change chargin time. In multilayer it's good to have long time, u wont be killed so fast ;p
Does anyone know why, in my game at least, only the Destiny Turret seems to do GCombat/PewPew damage?
Also, I agree the asgard beam currently takes down shields too fast, and the 302 hangar is looking nice!

well the ori sat for me doesnt do anything after the 2 minutes if i wanted to just for me what do i change in the lua? and the asgard beam if you watch the show it dose shoot much much faster atleast a 2 second delay is in order.. not 8 but if you tell me how to change the time ill do it myself... you dont have to tell me here you can pm me with the info if you dont want others messing with the code..

Yea this is the hard way to change it. In each init.lua u have local variables (at the top) and there are my comments :) I disagree, that there is 2sec delay. It can be 6 or 8 sec, the ship have more than one asgard emitter (i believe that 6) so if each will shoot every 8 sec then its good. Dont forget episode "Last man" - Phoenix before killing 2nd wratih ship had to wait for asgard weapon for charge.
Run wire debugger on Ori sat and watch if there any changes in Weapon Status - it should go down to 0 after shoot.

ok so if i use that local thing up at the top change it from 8 to what ever i want using say notepad right. will it work?
problem with the dest turret again.. after useing it for a bit then turning my pc off i got on today and it now fires only one barrell like before.... but it was working 2 barrels.. can you look into that please?

Will we get to see the Ancient weapon satellite used in "The Siege"? That thing was cool. I know it is similar to the Ori but the particle effect and model are different and theoretically it could fire faster than the Ori. It didn't have a shield though.
If somebody will model that then no problem. Otherwise we won't have that.
problems:
the stationary staff weapon doesnt show up in the spawn menu.
the stationary railgun works fine just looks like the particals are moving really fast.
the other guns i wire active to 1 and fire to numpad and they wont fire. and I gave them energy. maybe i'll give it another try.

I disabled staff because it have shitty model. Maybe i will slow down them. Strange, it works for ppl.

I ask for it in the Sg Model thread, they told me that this thing is to big and we dont have many good Pictures I think... Its a hard model.

The satellite was already done by Flyboi for the sb_atlantis map.

I started to code AG-3 satellites. I suppose that there will be only one firing mode - fire in group of six.
