Hey, the only reason why I suggested adding tiberium trees is because I already have the model and skin, but I see what you mean by using only the crystalline form. Also, the tiberium towers will not be any cooler than they are. I would have to make a shitload of different models in order to have the towers be "random" and then you would bitch that there isn't enough variation. Ok? Do you understand why? It's impossible to randomly generate a model. So stop asking.
I like the way the tiberium towers are.

Also, do you think you could figure out something with the other guys that made some custom models, for a all-in-one pack ?
(can't quite remember who did what, think it was q42, or paradukes, made a ultimate tiberium mining pack, or models for it atleast)
that would pretty much top this project off.
Last time I checked, I modeled this tiberium and Lynix coded it. This was just included in the tiberium-all-in-one pack, and most of the other stuff in that pack was gcombat related stuff.
How about adding a method to spawn tiberium towers (with options to set color and range) when you load a map.
pretty much the same way the Stargate mod does it.

I made some cool drones that automatically harvest tiberium and return it to a base station but those stupid tiberium towers just won't spawn any tiberium. They sometimes spawned one or two crystals, but they were under the displacement so my drones just bugged out and tried to find a way there, but there actually is no way so they disabled themselves. However, they work nicely if I spawn tiberium manually. Would you mind me recoding those tiberium towers ? I already have a nice reproduction coed snippet that should prevent tiberium from spawning somewhere underground. Also I started making my own tiberium refinery system, although this has already been done. This will perfectly fit with my Resource Distribution interface. Oh, I never told about that. I started a little project involving nice vgui controls to spawn the life support stuff. But I might start a thread about all that later. So please tell me if I may do my own tiberium towers or even tiberium or not, or if you can fix yours. Thanks.

That's all well and good, but... isn't there a tutorial somewhere? I have the addon, and i just figured out how to turn on the devices (E key) but... how do i link them? Like... how do i make coolant flow from the coolant compressors to the fusion generator and visa versa, energy flow from the fusion generator to the coolant compressor? Is there something i am doing wrong? i tried welding,wireing,using the link tool in resource destributation, and a combonation of all four(sorry,three), nothing works. help pleease. :=-(

Hey i have a quick question. When I put this on my server propsecure stops working. I have the newest propsecure and the newest tiberium. Is anyone else having this problem?
Okay, slight problem, almost everything appears to work fine, except the towers. The towers spawn, shake, and grow, but never spawn any tiberium. I sat and watched a field of 5 towers do nothing for almost an hour. at wich point I tried to "seed" the development manualy, only to watch all the tiberium slowly die off. Any ideas? I am getting no errors in console or in corner. When i manualy place tiberium I am able to mine it no problem. I have latest of all required mods.
Sorry but everyone that have asked for how this mod works "like tutorial and such" have asked for an answer in PM or figured it out... But I don't.
Actually, my problem is only that i can't seem to make the tiberium nozzle store the tiberium in the mounted small tank on my harvester.. The tiberium starts to spark and suddenly fades away, but it arent any raw tiberium in the tank...
Also.. If the refinery don't work atm... How can we make weapons? Or is there another way to produce processed tiberium? :P
Try using the link tool to link the items
This needs a sonic disruptor field to contain Tiberium growth. You place disruptor poles like fence posts so that the Tiberium won't spread anymore, then maybe every post you link together will have the barrier apear between them.

What're you on about? C&C style tiberium is so much cooler than the old Tiberian Sun tiberium.

I think there should be a choice between which Tiberium base Sent is used.
People should be able to choose between the new Tiberium Spires currently used and the classic Venifera Formations & Reparius Trees from the previous titles. If you are willing to accept this idea, I would gladly model a Reparius Tree. The Venifera Formation is just like a larger, more jumbled version of the blue crystals you can harvest.
I have an error that when I link the Tiberium up the sent disappears but when i select it then it goes all white then when i look away again it disappears again. Also there are no errors in the console. Please help!

If you mean the gcombat plugin with harvesting and whatnot, it does work.
The radar doesn't though, it won't even spawn for me (Gcombat is only reluctantly installed becuase svn comes with tiberium, it's chock full of garbage I don't need in my weapons and entities tabs.)

Crap, can't post the error because I've deleted the radar's lua. I'll find it later, but try it yourself.
Ok, sorry to doublepost but I found the error, and wanted to give this a bump.
Trying to spawn a Radar gives the error "stools/tiberium_radar.lua:64: attempt to index global 'ent' (a nil value)" and it tells me to install resource distribution. Well, I have RD2.
