O.o, NO! CDS is the BANE of players all around! Just keep it compatible with GCombat and wait for CDS 3.

CDS 2 is the current one, CDS 1 was the developer release, and CDS 3 is the one in development. And I agree, this should stick with GCombat, like it always has.
I just like the adaptive heat idea in CDS 2, to bad GCombat and CDS 2 are not compatible.
I always thought the heat system was a burden, and the insane resources needed to fire the weapons. It's just more crap to pull your ship down.

I have seen mods that are compatible with both CDS and GCombat like Resource Transit Systems, but I suppose that would take a lot of work. Edit: Considering one would more than likely have to code anything that has to do with damage twice.

It may be possible that someone could code the Tiberium to act as the Green and Red Terra crystals for Life Support and then infest asteriods with tiberium and they could mine it for terraforming purposes. After all that is what tiberium was meant to do.
Or make the tiberium meteors crash on planets and crap...
Or, just put a massive server-blast nuke in space and watch it go up!
@Killer_Steel Are you being sarcastic? :rolleye: Of course only admins would be able to spawn the tiberium.
@Pronema nawww, I'm serious. And of course admins could spawn tiberium, but the spikes are much more useful.

Finally... does it mean working Tiberium Radar? And, Lynix, I've started a project to make new models for the Tiberium Mod. Some of them are already done, (I just need to unwrap and compile them.) eg. the refinery, large silo and large spike. No problem for new models Oh and the difference is that the spike don't grow at the... maximum (It's so difficult to speak english when you are french :( ) I have 2 bugs with the v3, I need to fix them before making tiberium blue and tiberium red (You'll like the tiberium red) Oh and the tiberium radar will work in the v3 I need to make the refinery system too :/

Yeah, I've re-made the top and the basis already. Though, as i said i need someone to texture models. About speaking english - I'm from Poland, so i also have difficulties in finding certain words.

The name is strange even here (it contains spelling mistake). As for the texturers... I'm in a project (Pen-and-paper RPG), and we were waiting around ten months before finding guy who knows how to handle it. Ekhm. No more OT. What about including liquid tiberium thing? Tiberium dies after some time, that's known. But what if after dying Tiberium crystals (both Riparius/Vinifera) changed into liquid (glowing sprite on the ground, maybe with some particles)? Highly explosive, of course. Harvestable, unstable. Liquid can be used without processing as an explosive.
