Ralle, could it be possible for limbs to completely explode like they do in Dismemberment Mod? I've noticed at times when the limbs get crushed in Ragdoll Slaughter, they just spam blood, jam the crusher, and lag. GibSplat's development is paused for now.
Gah, I need to learn how to model so I can make limbs for this mod... or at least know Lua so it'll work in MP.

Hey can you explain how you can see what the names of the bones are? Because i want to mod it to allow gib tf2 persons :D
Rago Just use model manipulator on Alyx (for example) and set her model to Heavy (for example too :v: ) Now kill Heavy-Alyx and you get gibsplatting heavy!

Then go to the "physics" tab in the menu below the model. Then check the "highlight" box. Then simple select different bones from the list and they will show up on the model. Look at some of the other files in "data/GibSplat/bone_trees". Remember that you need to write down all bones in order for it to work (if there's a bone you don't want to be dismembered, you simple add a line like this: [code]bonename = bonename[/code] Then you're done:)

ralle, you should include the TF2 bones that Rago produces in GibSplat (if Rago's okay with that).

There is something that I feel is missing in this Gibsplat. I saw this in the normal Lua section and I could not wait for it to come out but I know this does what it was promised but I feel there is something missing in the mod.(other else then the effects)

If the model has the same amount of bones as specified in a file, and each bone exists on the model, it uses the info of that file on the specific model. Unless you specify all bones it won't work, as I stated earlier.

I found out that when a gib like the hand and foot are invisable, when you are about 15 feet away.
Hey i was wondering if anyone who used to have dismmberment mod gets this problem were there are no gibs just a lot of exploding blood? And yes i've made sure i've gotten rid of every sing lua file for dismemberment mod before i installed this one. Also i've tried the commands out and that doesn't help at all so any suggestions?
You must not have completely removed Dismemberment Mod.
I don't mean to be a negative nancy but... I think this mod kinda sucks, I mean when you shoot a npc anywhere their limb unrealistically falls off, and when it falls off it looks like clay falling apart. But that's just my opinion...
