I've downloaded dismemberment mod and removed all the files that were in my garry's mod that dismemberment mod contained so it's not that does it conflict with another script in there?

Check your addons folder, you might have dismemberment mod in addon format too.

oh yeah there is one thing id like to say to you Ralle, is there anyway to make the deathfix not collide with the superman mod
it helps your corpse fly but the deathfix of both yours and the other person who made the first stops it from working, here is the mod i am referring to.

if there is anyway of stopping your deathfix colliding with superman then please try and stop this, i enjoyed the super man mod but your deathfix stops me from enjoying it and i am sure i am not the only one.
EPIC! I cleaned my entire Gmod install for this, since I couldn't find all my old dismemberment mod files and delete just them.This mod absolutely pwns. Oh, and to correct something: "Decap" is short for 'decapitation' which is the removal of the head. Dismemberment is the removal of anything else. So, "Shoot him in the arm and it will decap" means that the head will fall of if you shoot someone in the arm.

I really want to gib some shit, I cleaned out my gmod folder in an attempt to get this to work...

It's hard to fuck up putting something in your addon's folder with a fresh gmod install. Doesn't work for me either. At all.

Try re-installing gib splat, and remove dismeberment mod.And if that didn't work, delete your Garry's Mod folder.If that does not work,then re-install Gmod.
This is such a great mod. Dismemberment mod did an alright job of doing more realistic battle damage, but it never allowed for multiple body parts like Gibsplat can. And now that it works with HL:R, it's even more awesome!
I can never get enough of crunching poison headcrabs...Or hacking apart striders and hunters so as to mount their heads on spears :)
On the subject of striders however, while their gibs work great, especially when they first die and collapse on themselves, I think the strider blood explosions for each limb are a tad excessive...Most times when a limb is taken off a strider, there's a screen-dominating shockwave of strider pus. They're big, sure, but I don't think taking off a leg will be that catastrophic. They don't do that when they're blasted apart by Magnussons...
I deleted the Garry's Mod folder and re-installed both Garry's Mod and Gibsplat, but still, there's nothing new in the situation.
