Bug.
I was testing the really cool transporter rings on a server and it will constantly crash when transporting a Car/Boat/any kind of transport [U]with[/U] a person inside.
When i mean crash. The rings will either stop moving or the server will crash.

Not had this issue with anything except jeeps which haven't caused crashes and I think I fixed.
Also I do not have the time for Lua at the moment, college is demanding. I shall work on this on and off but you won't be seeing any rapid-fire releases for a while.
I got a saw blade, and a sign that says gek or something.
Where do I put it?

Does the rings will find rnge again with the ring caller because I use this for my ships I also noticed that the rings models don't go to the ground but the teleport (the light) do it
EDIT : I have an idea . can you remove the checkbox that say find range so it will do it automatically

The "not going down" of the rings is a bug he is working on :). It was funny to see his face went to what-the-fuck when he joined my server and saw my jumper's rings not going down.
To the checkbox: It is useful! But it's annoying, it doesn't save the settings :)

Does your server have a ping limit i would like to join it someday but I'm all the way in Australia and i get a ping of 407. (can't do anything about the ping)
No. I anyway can't think why to add a ping-kicked in gmod-build. Hight pings just will make this user suffering. Not the server or other players.
It's cool buy my clients can join when it is installed.

- Fixed waiting time bug - rings will now disappear if they can't get to their place after 10 seconds.
- Fixed find range mode.
- Added a FOV/white fade effect when teleporting (based off TF2 but I can't get it perfectly right).
Not tested it in multiplayer due to time issues but I have to assume it works.
I put the folder ringtransporter in garrysmod/addons and i get a saw blade at the base. what is that????

The sawblade IS the base. Just press the use key on it to set it's addres and touch the control panel carefully to make the control panel get a swift blue glow around it which tells you that its linked. Then make another base and use control panel, tata... Cool teleporter rings at your disposal. (You don't have to set addres to the rings & get the imba "Ringcaller" Swep from aVoN.)

I could try modeling some stuff. I've modeled before.
I'm currently modeling some small things like the Atlantic door switches, lights, my main project (If i get started) is to model a puddle jumper.
But I'm completely crap at texturing.

Not yet, but you can check it on my server.
Yep I've tested the latest version. It's broken in SP and MP. The sounds play but the rings don't move.
The latest version works perfectly for me, haven't tried it in Mp yet but it works really good in Sp.
My only concern is what the rings can teleport, i think you should modify the code a little to allow ragdolls to be transported as well.
Other then that, this is one of the coolest mods i've ever seen

I ran into an issue the other day where I used a ring transporter from a ceiling to the ground with "find range" enabled. The rings only traveled the distance they would normally without "find range" on but it still teleported as if it was (so the rings work, the animations was just a bit messed up).

Download the latest version.
Don't worry fixed my bug. There was some shared.lua files that hadn't been deleted from the last version
