I wanted a new model for the panel too, so i decided to try my luck and came up with this : [img]http://i34.servimg.com/u/f34/11/40/03/79/panel110.jpg[/img] It's in 3ds max 9, and I am downloading the SMD export thing, what I need to know now is if there is something else I need to do once it's in .smd format before Cat can implement it in Garry's Mod. Thanks[/QUOTE] Polycount looks a bit big on the top and bottom bits, otherwise looks good. You need to compile it from SMD to MDL.

File not found. If you've edited the base or anything else remove it. All you need to have is your own panel which you can link to the base and fire wire at. I don't want people releasing [B]versions[/B] of it because when I release a new one you're left with two levels - Especially if you don't update yours. All this does it cause problems.

Sorry, i just deleted it and then uploaded it with aVoN's modifactions... so it should be good now. The only reason i haven't just released the panel by its self, is because if i try to have the normal panel, and the wire panel together, spawning the wire one just spawns the normal panel. SO i have changed the spawn ENT name to wire_control_panel, rather than control_panel, THEREFOR i have to edit the base, in that all i do is change the base name, and what it pairs with. (oh, and add the disabled var to it.) If you have another way to do this, please either contact me on steam, or PM me. If you give me temp. access to your SVN, i could modify both to work together, and just have one base, and two panels (ie, wire and non-wire.) You can disable it by telling it it's busy. EDIT: I just committed "ring_wire_controller" (but I didn't update the zips), test this out and tell me how it works. This is how it should probably work, no disrespect meant. I'll probably change the model to something smaller.

Aren't the ori rings the same width as the normal ones? I'm pretty sure they have 5 rings too. Find some video evidence of it having 6 rings and I'll do that for you once I have the model.

White and "Ori" writing? I haven't found anything about "Ori" symbols and what not.

Catdaemon I love your addon but there is a problem. I have Garry's Mod version 10 and for some reason I followed all instructions on how to use it. what happens is that I set up 2 ring bases, and one control panel. I activate the ring transporter, get in it and after the rings are in position. no glow effect occurred, I wasn't transported and the rings base which I'm on is frozen likely. I looked everywhere and went to your site and it said that it works on Garry's Mod 2007 which I wasn't sure if you are referring to Gmod 9. What are the requirements to get this mod working?

Er hi....I downloaded your ring transporters and I tried using it but I don't get teleported.Can you explain it?This is what i did. 1.spawn two or more ring base 2.name it 3.touch the control panel on the base 4.tried dialing 5.I hear the ring transporter sound and I don't get teleported. Can you help me? Anyway,can anyone give me the link to the newest ring transporters?
New version, changes: - Added a wiremod interface (works like a panel). Thanks to Meeces2911 for some help with that (idea+testing). - Fixed the white flash effect staying on your screen forever (rare) (probably, difficult to test). Download from the first page as always.

@miriam , if you look at the post above this it doesn't look so white (or round). It also has a lot more texture to it.
