Thanks, we fixed it.

Can I suggest a command to switch someones model?
That would be very helpful, assuming such a command isn't already in there and I've just missed it.
Hook 'TiramisuLoadDoors' Failed: [@lua\includes\modules\glon.lua:237] Expected to end number at 1! (Got EOF!)
Yes I installed the new addon.
Looking for servers with this on it.. found about 5.. 0 players... Really want to play this, not any populated servers with it running, though.

I think that most of the smaller communities have more or less dried up, and the market is mostly dominated by larger established names who are branching out into a bunch of different RPs. These guys are usually running off their own scripts. Everyone else is using DarkRP.
Smaller communities trying to run Tiramisu are probably hitting some hitches with actually using the script. Without documentation, any tutorials, anyone to help, and little to no prior experience with coding or Cake, Tiramisu can be intimidating and tricky to work with. However, also remember that Tiramisu is also IN DEVELOPMENT (thus the thread is located appropriately), so it makes sense if some communities don't want to start developing their own scripts working with just a beta.
Personally, Tiramisu is an awesome script that smaller RP communities need: it's flexible, powerful, and free. The only things holding it back from total public usage is its development status, the lack of tutorials and documentation (which we were promised and is hinted at on the GitHub), and a bit of the RP climate right now.
Currently, the RP climate is leaning more towards PERP (Which honestly, kind of ruined the RP scene completely...) I haven't played a good serious RP script since Olden, and that was a good year or two ago at least.

Due to the heavily experimental nature of Tiramisu ( My approach was to add helpful elements from other games/engines to try and bring them into RP ), Tiramisu is really, REALLY sensitive to people that like to meddle with the very core of the script ( SPECIALLY clothing ). This is a development oversight by me, since it was once my intention to make it my own private script.
On the next weeks I'll be on the process of restructuring, commenting and documenting the script. The inventory can come later.
Another one of my somewhat numerous questions. This should be an easy one though. Is there any function built in for opening the "combine doors" found in maps designed for Tacoscript? As far as I can tell, there isn't, but if anyone could tell me if there's something I've missed, that'd be great. Otherwise I'll try and put it in myself I guess.

rp_admin adddoor doorgroup, while aiming at a door
All factions have a doorgroup, in the default schema the Police faction has a faction doorgroup of 1. I will soon be remaking the template, since it's a tad confusing to use right now.
Question, How do we used said "preset door titles"?
Question, How do we used said "preset door titles"?
Basically it's just the same thing than rp_adddoor, only that you do rp_adddoor 0 "title", that way it'll have a default text when you look at it.
For ease of use, and for those that forget my GitHub address, I now have a domain at GitHub, it's as simple as:

Please refer to this page if you're merely looking for the latest release.
To add the models, upload them. To make a HELMET, make a new item called helmet_itemname.lua and copy/paste the stuff from another helmet file in, and edit. Same for bodies, except its clothing_itemname.lua

Alright, I fixed my problem. But now my friend, who has a clean install, is bugged when he joins. I know it's on his side because others are fine, but he sees it as base, and gets this error :
Lua Cache failed to Download. Server Configuration Not setup
Any help?
How did you fix this? It does the same thing on my server :/
-For the guys saying more servers should be using this mod, then check out Www.ACMA.iftopic.com -I'm going to test my luck at making a different server.
Quick suggestion; I noticed the First Aid Kit item, that lets you bring people who are still on their respawn timer back to life. It's a great idea, but people tend to respawn before it gets any use unless you make the timer obnoxiously long. My suggestion is to make respawning on death not an automatic thing. Make it a concommand, or a button, or something. This means you'll be able to stay in a healable state if you think someone will be around to heal you, and if not let you just respawn and go about your business.

You can always buff up the CAKE.ConVars[ "Respawn_Timer" ], so that you will have the possibility of being saved. But yeah I think I'm gonna reinstate the good old rp_acceptdeath.
Also, new inventory is out. Fetch it from the git as usual, or use my new SVN, checkout URL is at:

I have a question, My inventory does not look like the one in the pictures in the original Post, is this normal? Also How do you equip the clothing and headgear, and do you plan on implementing a less player reliant job system?
"Also, new inventory is out."
There's your answer. The screenshots are old.

Thanks, I sorta liked the old design a bit better, because you can hardly see the 'X' to close the inventory.
But I changed it to black so it's not a problem anymore.Unless your in the dark :ohdear:
Just started on the official docs, should have some useful stuff for you guys by tonight.
Absolutely adore the idea.
Good job.
I hope people are still periodically checking the github. Quite a few updates have been coming out the last few days.
Really liking some of the latest updates.
More updates coming up later tonight :D
I have a problem .
I've joined a half life 2 themed tiramisu server with ping <50
I was moving extremely laggy , and extremely slow. Everything else worked fine
Alright, so, business was added. That means we have finally feature wrapped, something I have been trying to do for a year. This means that no new features will be added.
It is now more important than ever to have people submit their bug reports. The more helpful reports you make the faster Matt and I can release Tiramisu
There's a bug right now that gets spammed on my server.
tiramisu\gamemode\schemas\global\plugins\inventory\cl_inventory.lua:588] attempt to call method 'GetAmount', (a nil value)
Here's a link to picture I took:

Can a moderator please lock this thread, as I am going to release Tiramisu now?
EDIT: Actually scratch that, I'll be making a HL2RP schema first, then release.
Attempting to copy Conna much? The char selection screen is a worse copy. The Gamemode Base itself look alright (features) but the Derma is horrible. You could at least try making the character menu unique, as it's the first the player is probably going to see.

Very ironic, as Conna/Kuro has ripped off the design straightly from TacoScript. :v:
Yep, Tiramisu. Free roleplay gamemode.

You see that panel with the player's gear, clothing and everything rendered on it? You can rotate and zoom with the mouse.
