I believe you extract this to the addons folder of your server.
Meg can you look into putting the kick and ban buttons on the scoreboard (if they are there then look into why they don't show up) Was trying to kick some minge trying to crash my server who came in my server with some fucked up symbols and shit in his name and the scoreboard didn't have the kick or ban buttons so i was forced to close the server.
Couldn't you just have kicked him the old fashioned way?

Megiddo is out of pocket for quite some time beginning last Monday, and may not be updating this for some time. (He's been known to prove me wrong (happily I might add))
It's possible Sui_B could correct it.
However, if you have ULX, the quickest and easiest way to kick someone with ASCII characters is to go to game console, type "ulx kick" or "ulx ban", and the auto-complete will provide you a list to cycle through. Use your down arrow to select the name.
Hit enter. Poof. Gone.
We designed in auto-complete for reasons such as this.
At the time i didn't have ulx but i just got the svn so that should work thanks for the heads up

You need a mod that assigns you to a team. I think SS/SAT might do it (don't quote me on it), but ULX and UTeam will do it for you no problem as well.

It looks like the rating icon players get to the left of their name (the rating they've gotten the most) still displays the regular icon they've gotten before you've installed sui_scoreboard. And for some reason it doesn't update.
Is there a way to fix that?

I have a problem which is seen in the beginning screenshot. By the looks of things the title text is the same colour as the colour of the first team, which for me is superadmin and purple, but I really don't want a purple title. Is there any way to set the title colour without making a new "blank" team?

If you are using uteam and ulx the colour can be determined by used r, g, b codes. Search on the Internet for rgb colour codes and select one.
Then in uteam.txt where it says "r" = "<input red value here>"
do the same for the green and blue values.

I do believe this can be done in the gmod options menu under player.
Finally when playing on a gamemode that uses a custom scoreboard this one well ****'s up (to put it bluntly) All of the names are stacked in the top left hand corner of the scoreboard as shown on the previous page.
Is there any lua code I can add to make the scoreboard not work on these gamemodes.
(Don't know much lua really enough to know what to alter to change settings in game, also enough to delete certain functions to remove certain effects e.g. the function that stops other players from pressing your buttons in simple prop protection.

thanks, but I already have it, it's a good tip for other people though, so thank you for that in advance, this is an excellent addon, and works great on my dedicated server with UTeam, I'm planning on starting a Zombie Survival server soon, but I need to know one thing, how do I give my server a name when I'm using srcds through the console? I don't want my server to constantly be called "Garry's Mod", so could someone please tell me?
