I tested game only with max 8 players, so I don't know.
I think server with 12-16 players could be fun. I didn't test it.
Server with more slots than 16 will be very difficult to hit someone, but it also may not.

UK server, if anyone is interested! Just kinda testing stuff at the moment, though, sorting out Evolve right now.
Lots of fun so far. Their path finding is a little dodgy, but the bots are genuinely pretty tough/fun to play against.

I have fixed most of the visible and unvisible bugs and the gamemode shouldn't have big errors now. I added some new smal things like customization file for the game, just look in the changelog [url]http://coderhire.com/scripts/view/685[/url]

No one cares that it isn't free, people care that it was in development with a wip thread on facepunch with people expecting a free release. Then they said oops nevermind, buy it on coderhire. Also you're obviously not going to be actually releasing this for free so isn't it just advertising?
Do keep in mind that a lot of players don't really browse Facepunch, which is the only place I've seen Heavy Balls get discussed and the name itself is a bit strange and doesn't give much away. Would it being free really make much difference?
Although I will say I personally really love this gamemode and think a good job was done with it.
Advertising? Every addon and gamemode here is just advertising. I know, everybody is looking on the free gamemodes, but If they see gamemode for sale, then they must hate it. :( My friends told me to put it on sale. I agreed. But now I see it is very big problem for someone. I will see what happens next.
What I regret is that servers are still empty and people don't want to join on empty server. I don't know what I must to do. Everybody is laughing when I show them what Heavy Balls is.

If people don't buy it, release it for free. That way everyone has the resources to make it popular.

but not the technical knowledge to actually host it
one possibility is to release a free "lite" version of the gamemode, keeping the full one (or more updated) one for yourself and those who pay. i have seen some other gamemodes do this
Yeah, I was actually deterred by the price tag because
1. I'm a minor
2. I'm not a spoiled 12-year old minor

Theres no need to bend in and make this free. If people still pay for terrible and broken gamemodes ( *cough* perp *cough*) then they will for this as well, as long as its a fair price, its maintained, and its fun. Try getting some friends to join the servers and spread the word. I am sure this will become something someday.

Just upset people because they can't get your game mode, because they don't want to support the developer / and or have the money for it.
I was going to buy it, but recently your dev subscription went off.
Us at GM Servers have a server of it, heavyballs.gmservers.co.uk is the IP to join :D
