You don't know what you are talking about. Garry occasionally plays on gmod servers after some update for testing, and people see him. People can tell it is him because his steam ID is only 4 numbers.
His steam nick was "garry [noparse]:D[/noparse]" but I don't know if he kept it that.

"Lucky Shot"
Kill a Player/Enemy after a Crossbow bolt has already reflected off the ground(if you don't know what I'm talking about, equip your Crossbow then shoot a crossbow bolt at an angle)
Or:
Shark Hunter:
Kill 10 Enemies/Players under the water with a Crossbow.
Pretty simple achievements.
I don't know how easy the first one would be to make, but the 2nd could EASILY be done.
Too bad I don't know Lua.

Think you could implement like a TF2 Weapon system?
You could create some simple SWEPS, and when you try to spawn them without having the right number of Achievements, it says "You Need (whatever) number of achievements to earn that weapon!"
This would HAVE to be Server-Side, but I thought it was a good idea.

When I check for updates ingame, it says there's a new version but my SVN is the latest revision.
I think you may have forgotten to change the version from 1.63 to 1.73 in the info.txt and achievements.lua files.

"[b]AAAHHHHHH![/b]" was the first achievement I got, actually. Falleritus is a good map for that.
For the "I Met God" achievement I suggested where you meet Garry, if you don't require a camera it could be clientside, but it wouldn't be able to work quite as well as I hoped it could be made to. Simply check to make sure Garry is on the server for 60 seconds or something smaller, to make sure you most likely have had time to see them. It's also possible to just get rid of the picture idea and add a line of data to the achievements saying to find the client and do a trace line to his/her target player, but I forgot the code for this.
Actually, do to a bug, or possibly just a forgotten script, in half-life, you can kill the gargantua with a crowbar. It is not only vulnerable to explosives, it just needs a certain amount of damage, or a certain weapon has to be used. The MP5 bullets, the MP5 Grenades, the rocket launcher, the satchel charges, the trip wire, and a few other weapons all worked on the gargantua, even the crowbar I think, but that test was never confirmed due to the 800 HP that the gargantua had. Also, the strider has 5 rocket hits, or 350 health to deplete through other explosives or damage sources that hurt it. The gargantua simply has 800 health. They are very different.

Actually you can, and it's very easy to prove since you can join a random server and type status in the console and get everyone's steam ID...
Not everybody has Episode 2.

Depends. The Snark Mods I find stink. Even if you could make one, the AI would have to be different than that of HL1, since Snarks in HL1 don't attack Xen creatures.

3 things
1) that wasn't my idea
2) Some of the ones currently in the mod are "@#$% ideas" since you have to kill 200 antlions or something like that.
