Hey guys! I was just wondering about this, I mounted hl2 episode 2 earlier today and my entities for Gbombs4 never changed, I don't get any lua errors and Im not sure whats wrong. And when will your dropbox link be fixed?
We need to add a bit of stuff and fix this and that, but it should be fixed soon. As for mounting - this can be issue with the steam pipe. We won't be able to mount games moved to steam pipe until Garry releases a patch and that will be soon too. So yeah in not so long time we're probably going to have problems with dod:s and cs:s entities not mounting too :P
I hope this hasn't already been answered, but how do I update the mod? I downloaded the file again after seeing new stuff being added, updated wire, and downloaded the new spawnlist, but nothing new is showing up. Are the new pictures showing what is to come in the next update, or am I missing something here? Sorry for the inconvenience.

Man knowing that the creator uses the crossbow to sometimes trigger things to, that makes me feel so much better lol

I'm doing it to keep adding low priority entities when our main modeller doesn't have time. From the previous video, we've seen something which looks like a cluster bomb...but could it work for a rocket too? I mean, you launch the rocket and either automatically or with a wire trigger, it deploys a number of smaller bombs/rockets which uppon impact on the ground blow up.

It all involves breaking the detail down into a number of layers in your head and building up. Not only that with the main body being circular the model will actually be easier to make. ------------------------------- The main modeller of the team can probably do a much better job at it than I can but either way I will see what I can do tomorrow when I get up.
You guys should really think about putting this on Workshop when it's done, it would be a great opportunity for this project.

I don't know if this has been brought up before, but it'd be cool to have some heavy artillery cannons which you can pop various shells (gas, HE, shrapnel etc) in and after a delay it would fire it.

Well I thought about handling the cannon/tank shells the way the 40mm grenades are working. So it's simply an entity which launches itself forward. We're adding gun barrels for them but who knows maybe we'll turn it into a new gcombat like addon :P

Now naturally when I put it into my compiler it turned around and screamed at me "ARE YOU CRAZY I CANNOT COMPILE THAT!!!!!" so I had strip it of so much detail I nearly shed a tear. I wish the source engine was more powerful at times but then again this is probably down to my inability to optimise the model. So this is what I could come up with without my compiler saying it could not compile it. xD Oh my... goodness gracious me. This looks really sweet. :D As for the functionality... since i was the crazy guy to even start this, will try to think of something. :D With this missile/bomb being bigger than other models, i'd suggest something which makes quite a big "boom" when detonated. Or maybe something which incorporates multiple deployment methods through wire. PS: Already got an idea...will take some time though to write it down. ^^ ------ EDIT: 1: The missile could work like a carrier for several smaller warheads, which can be launched through the small circles at the front/back and detonate upon impact on any surface. 2: These "vents" in the middle, to release a toxic blue-ish nebula 3: Instead of 1., these circles could also deploy countermeasures such as flares, which in turn would require the missile to fly slower than others so someone else would've enough time to target it. 4: If the main body hits a surface and hasn't been shot down by someone else before, it'll blow up like a nuclear/hydrogen bomb. Option 1,2,3 could be activated manually through wire by the user, or set to "automatic" mode...
