Created an account on GitHub and cleaned up some code. Not much along the lines of progress this last day but expect some tomorrow for sure.

I really like the idea of this community-driven roleplay gamemode. Keep up the good work. I just wish I could change my player model inside the server :v:

Cool, thanks! I replaced the background images and the logo. Also here are a couple screenshots of the bank entity. It works and your money saves in your bank and wallet every time you log on or off. The menus are just a template until I add more features. I want to make the bank have a displayable name set by the owner of the bank. And the person that puts down the most money to own the bank, owns it. Think of it like a never ending bid on the bank. ect ect.

I have one question about the bank, seeing that you can withdraw coins from the bank, couldn't you 'steal' someone's coins they put in the bank?\

It seems like that would defeat the purpose of a bank, security to your money. But maybe there can be some kind of thief mod added so after awhile of certain work it is possible to rob from other players pockets. I'm going to try and work on some stuff today, I've been sick these last few days with a nasty bug so that has a little to do with the slow progress.

The banks work globally, so the money you have in the bank can be accessed through any bank. Although banks can be individually owned, which gives the owner the ability to set he bank name. In the future the owner will be able to move his bank to different locations and also gain interest on the amount of clients that use their bank.
A few picture updates.
Banking mod is almost done, current features:
*No more than 6 own-able banks. --This amount can be adjusted.
*ATM money is the same on all ATM's, this means if you deposit $50 in "ATM A" then check your balance at "ATM B" you will also have $50.
*ATM's cost $50.
*Owners of the ATM can set the title above it.
Expected features:
*Some kind of reward system for anyone who owns a bank, such as the ATM owner receiving a portioned pay for each client that uses their ATM machine to withdraw or deposit. Another idea would be some kind of global/economic pricing based on which ATM has the most cash flow, where is money mostly pooled in and then taken out at, ect, ect. Once again, ideas for any and everything are welcomee.

Stocks would be cool. Like if you're good at it then you can make great amounts of coins, and it could use fake stocks.

I know this is still WIP but you could waste more time now In making the Panels for the Bank.
I think they're just place holders so there for they'll most likely change later on.

I can't tell if you are trying to be serious and you are talking about actually creating custom panels, or if you just don't get what I am doing. The menus all took a matter of minutes to make and are all basically just a copy/pasted place holder.

I was talking about the panels. Why to do it later if you are already working on it, in case you want to change it.
Nice game-mode you got there, progressed quite a bit since I last saw it.

Yes that is the reason, I make them very sloppy right now so they are easy to change if I want to add or remove some kind of feature. Just out of curiosity what is your first language, if not English?
Just a little icing on the cake, made a little hud element for the myql game saves every 10 minutes. When the game saves this little hud comes gliding up from the bottom of your screen then stops at the top for a couple seconds before disappearing.

We want to get the coding base finished before we go into polishing looks. It definitely will change though

I think it would be pretty cool if players could specialize in skills and then make things they like to make by combining things or using their skills.
I'm just tired of roleplaying gamemodes focusing on illegal ways of getting money.

lol right? I was checking out carlrp and the only thing you can do at first to gain levels/xp is sit on a money printer. Something like what you are talking about will definitely be implimented
I agree, it would be really cool to implement crafting into the gamemode, but I'm not asking for it to be done right away. Keep up the good work!

I am not a big fan of crafting but the beautiful thing is that if I don't like it I can easily take it off the gamemode! This gamemode is going to be insanely modular. The community gets what the community wants!

If you think you can do it, go for it. However I will not put people in charge of things with no real examples of what they want to do or what they can do. And don't get too fancy, I'm not looking for people to create "The greatest hud of all time!". If you do make a hud, make sure it is basic, elegant, unique, and most importantly likeable. Make sure people like it, post pictures, get opinions and such.
Tonight I should be finishing the banking mod. Here is a basic run down. I also updated github with my chicken scratch if you would like to take a look, the basic mechanics behind it are working. I just need to polish it up a little bit and make it actually work in the gamemode.

This large and majestic creature will sell you banks at a reasonable price. It will show how many banks exist and how many more are allowed for purchase. Once the max amount of banks is purchased, you must find a bank around the map and purchase it for more than what the original owner did to buy it out and own it for yourself.

I think this will turn into the first job, [I]bankers[/I]. The owner of banks will get money based on how many deposits and withdraws have been made from their bank. This will keep people from purchasing banks and using them in private, as the more traffic through your bank, the more money you receive from it. This should urge bank owners to put their bank in strategic spots of the map to make their bank the most well known.
Here is a picture of the bank mod about %90 done, all it really needs is the option for other players to buy it out. I'm going to finish it tomorrow because it is getting too late to finish it. Here is a picture though of how it will most likely look when finished.

Just tried looking at your bank system in-game and couldn't find the way to open the bank menu.
Basically, what I was going to test is that you could deposit/withdraw negative money. Make sure you patch that otherwise shit hits the fan.

Great. I just had a thought though. What if it costs money for them but they get money too. So they get paid to offset the cost of the transfer. That would discourage them even more I think in having a private bank because it would just cost money to use their bank. Or is that what it is and I am just over-complicating it?

pretty sure you need to spawn in bank seller then buy a bank through it (e-unless bound differently). Hit 'use' to use the banks

Can you do something similar to your other site? Make the front page a simple easy to read blog, with three noticeable links on the top left for Github, Forums, and Facepunch? Github will be the gamemode, forums will be our forums on the site, and facepunch will lead to this thread to keep things together.
When I get off work tonight I will be finishing the prop protection system which will in turn allow me to finish the banking mod.

Sadly that is not open source and requires another licence which costs $140 :(
I can try to make something similar to that though with this website. Or we could use an open source website maker that may be the closest to the licensed one but is also pretty buggy.

Why not just make something simple like the front page of the Garry's Mod wiki? It could have the three links on the front, and each will redirect to the specific location of each item.
Plus you could have a blog roll that will display the most recent updates from the gamemode blog.
