Have you heard of UCRPM? (User Created RolePlay Mod)
Basically, it is a really old gamemode for gmod9, where you had this cool crafting system where you would touch the items together and create dough from milk and flour for example, then you would touch the dough with an egg, and create pancakes. (For added bonus, add a pan to that mix, and you would be my god.)
It was easy to add new recipes.
Other than that for ideas, you could look at the sims, there's some pretty cool ideas in those.
So you just put the folder that you use the svn on into the gamemodes folder? Because I try to run it like that and it doesn't work for me. It just loads Sandbox.
Did you set the convar sv_defaultgamemode to the folder's name?

and incase you don't know what that means, in your file to start the server, you should have +sv_defaultgamemode insertfoldernamehere
it is case-sensitive so i recommend just using lowercase letters
this could be really great if it makes some nice VGUI

make it clean and minimalistic Dont make elements take too much of the screen and try to make it eye appealing overall
good VGUI And HUD is what i mostly look in for a gamemode

You should add a car npc and make it easy to add cars to it
Don't take any projects over if you either do not have the skill to, or not add anything to the project.

i want the gamemode?...right.. i was just pointing at the fact that every gamemode deadman takes he always gives up and addds nothing to it
just look at his post log he tried taking a LOT of lua gamemodes and they always end up in

The "excuse" is used by no good scripter. When you take up a project, it is expected that you do something, not let it sit and do nothing. If he is so busy with his life, he should of decided to not take up a gamemode. All he has done to this is made a new unnecessary thread. Don't forget all of the other projects deadman has taken and done nothing with.

But by not doing anything with them, he lowers it.
Honestly I think I will take this project back over since nothing has happened. More will happen if I take it over again than if it just sits here.
I mean it's summer for me and I have a life (and girlfriend) and a full time job and I could get more done than what has been done.
Currently recoding DarkRP however, look out for a release soon. More optimized, refreshed (and good looking, not eye hurting) GUI/themes, DLC system (like steam workshop), and more.
Well then. I was actually going to start pushing updates I was working on before I went to Texas. I won't be back to my PC till like next monday or tuesday soo yeah. Go for it if you want I guess.

This SVN version of liquid rp dont work you can not use any tools
