Nope. The only problem relating to garry is the suppressor getting glitched. Everything else can be blamed either on the model Kermite used or his shitty "coding" (lol copy and paste job.) Don't assume things when you don't know what you're talking about.
First of all I never said he had shitty coding, infact I really like his coding, second garry did fuck up the surpressors yes,but he also fucked up alot of other things other than kermites sweps, third BEE SEVUNTEEN BAWWMMBERRR
Do you think you could add an AA-12 to the shotgun pack? And have the grenade rounds as the secondary fire?
Video of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4ebtj1jR7c
Picture: http://world.guns.ru/shotgun/aa-12.jpg
This would be so much fun...
I think theres a gun like it already in the pack, but its not full-auto...
First of all I never said he had shitty coding, infact I really like his coding
He's not saying you did or you didn't but like it or not, it was just copy paste coding.

I know that, but im just saying the weapons i put down were pretty good suggestions, not like he would make them since he doesnt make the sweps
Hey Kermite!
i love the packs, or at least when they worked. the problem is all of a sudden one day the guns started emitting ERRORS instead of guns shells, i have heard tthis is cause i dont have CS:S but i didnt have CS:S when it didnt emit ERRORS. So im somewhat confused and some clarification on how i can fix this or what the problem is would be awesome!!! THANKS!
same here.
If i learn some Lua I will try port these over the Madcow's base

:ohdear:
:ohdear:
What?
All it should be is changing the models and setting the right firing properties
What?

Exactly... thats what gmod is filled with, SHITTY WEAPONS
Exactly... thats what gmod is filled with, SHITTY WEAPONS
She is right you know...
Well why not be less shitty :buddy:
Exactly... thats what gmod is filled with, SHITTY WEAPONS
Thats why i just make sweps for my own private use. I know they are shit but i like the customization. I like mine because i made them. I know i could never be as good at lua as someone like you lol. Anyway why are people still posting on this thread??
if i could find a good minigun ill add it
and yes there is an xm8
good,im glad youll add an xm8 because all the others i see are very shitty,on mightys old ass swep pack you cant even zoom in into the scope on the xm8c,and xm8 lmg,it just goes and pulls the gun up to your face, like how you zoom in on perfect dark zero, will it have like that red dot scope like the mp7s scope on your smg pack? or a completely different one?
Jesus, The amount of people who love MODELS THAT SHOOT BULLETS... Its like over 90% of the gmod community right? :/
He is right you know...

fixed.
It is a 'she' (I believe, if i'm wrong, tell me and I get rid of this post) also just let it die, this thread has no updates at all.

We get it, someone made something more popular than your releases. Pherhaps people would like them more if you didn't act like a fucking scriptnazi.
Effort or not, these works properly, unlike your sweps.

Oh the irony.

Combining in comparison with my old work, Maybe. But with the new i would say not.
Your more than likely to be using about 200 addons that slow down gmod 65%, then again... about 80% of those addons will be useless and cause bugs with other addons.
Irony indeed.
PS: The reason these are popular, Is mostly because the gmod community is filled with 12 year old idiots, who only know how to pull a trigger.

And being an arrogant cybertranny with a godcomplex who makes up statistics is better how, exactly...?
But yeah, I see your problem, people like this, and it bothers you. I belive there's a word for it.
Oh, that's right! Jealousy.
:eng101:
This addon's pretty useful. I converted them into Mad Cow's base and used them on my server, t'was great. I would have used the original base, but back then I had no idea on how to fix particles.
So, ITT: Arrogant scripter jealous at person who made good addon.
*Walks out of courtroom* Case closed.
Whether you like or not, in the scripting sense, this isn't a good addon. It's more or less a copy paste swep pack, the sounds don't work, and it's hastily coded. That's more what she has a problem with. And calling someone an arrogant cybertranny isn't the best way to support your point.

Well, that's Garry's fault for updating things, sooner or later Joe's scripts will break aswell. Untill the point of breaking, this worked great, since the script fullfilled it's purpose, and alot of people enjoyed it. So since it was fully functional, it was a good addon scriptwise. There's no rules to scripting besides getting it to work, and this worked perfectly. Just because other elitists are so butthurt over how a "muggler" bested them, does not mean it was bad.
Also, it does support my point saying that, since he tried to discredit the entire gmod community, so I discredited him.
Now, I belive you have other fuddyduddy matters to attend to.

I'm not saying there's any rules, but compared to other addons, this wasn't, in a sense, good. Not in popularity or success, but how much effort was put into it, and how well it was coded.
And how does it discredit her to call her a cybertranny? I can make up all sorts of nonsense about you, but that doesn't make it true, nor does it give or take credit from your argument.

The first part of that run-on sentence makes no sense. As for my age, you're wrong, so, well, I'll just completley disreguard your self-delusion in how you harness all the wisdom in the world, able to instantly diagnose a perfect stranger.

I see you haven't seen the massive thread about it in GD, but, whatever. Effort and "wellness" have little to do with it, what matters is purpose, things that are too "well" done, normally causes massive lag and crashes, just because it's overdone.
You're underrating simplicity, and the base used for this was great, and is still pretty intact despite all the updates. This is just a classic case of jealousy. You two spend ages making something fancy with only a portion of intrest compared to a simple weapon pack.
Nothing stops you from making a simple weapon pack, you can even code it from scratch so you don't have to worry about made up "script morales" that prohibit simplicity and efficiency, since, a SWEP base is an evil demon that takes your imaginary script soul when you use it, instead of making another base from scratch, wasting six mounths of your life to make something that you had in the first place.
I got stuff to do on my server, which interestingly enough has to do with fixing this pack, it really is a utility. Bye!

But that's the problem, she's not complaining about how it's simplicity, she's complaining about how it's a poorly made pack. You keep ignoring the fact that she's not complaining about the popularity, only how badly the pack was executed. And yes, I have seen the thread in GD, but unlike you, I don't believe everything I read on the internet.
Did I just stumble into an argument.
I don't see the problem, if it's popular it's popular. There is nothing you can really do about it.
Just about.
What she's complaining about is not that it's popular, but that it's poorly made. That's the point I've been trying to make.
You're an idiot if you think Garry had anything to do with the SWEPs being horribly coded trash. The only thing Garry broke in Kermite's weapons are the holdtypes. That is it. Everything else is simply chocked up to user error (tons of addons, conflicts, etc) and bad coding on kermite's part.
Im pretty glad garry did update that. The prediction to clients was a little messy.
