No-ones forcing you to use them yourself, let everyone have their own fun.
Maybe they arn't very good in your eyes, and maybe not in mine either, but people are using them then they must like them.

For the beta assault rifles, I perosonally think that E isn't exactly the best choice for the menu key, as it prevents you from opening doors. If possible, make it a combination of E and Right Mouse Button.

Point taken, Although I did not want to make it something that would be too much of a hassle. Also next version it'll be a popup menu which you have to hold the e button to access and not one you have to manually close.
Any ideas/rebuttals?
The thing with the redrawing the weapons is annoying. If you can't make there instantly be attachments, then you may as well do a youtube player style spawn system, where clicking on the spawn icon pops up a small menu with the attachments.

I personally think that you should have at least 1 weapon of every class. Then we could have weapons like the M24, MP7, Kimber .45, and maybe a M60 or M249. Also; drum mags?
EDIT: For some reason, I can't work Kermites Pistol. I've put it into my Addons folder but it does not appear in the Weapons tab in Gmod. Help!

And while Kermite's stuff isn't bad-bad, it has quite a tendency to be bugged up and there's no practical or RP use for three different Desert Eagles that all do the exact same thing with a slightly different color (example, not truth - I think the pistols pack only had 2 Deagles) and so forth. But eh, I won't go and take a piss on everything.
Also, recoil is a nasty bugger last I remembered with these. With most SWEPs it's CS:S style recoil that can easily be controlled, but these had the "untrained" kind of recoil where firing just a couple of bullets was like shooting a (semi/full auto) revolver in one hand with no recoil control.

Just downloaded the sniper rifle pack yesterday... took me sometime to
realize the forum page might have a link
I'm currently still testing the fine tuning of the sniper rifles
but have encountered some scope issues
AWM, M82, FNFAL, G36, PSG-1, M24, SVDA1 and TRG-42 have no zoom
in scoped mode... other sniper rifles zoom perfectly
Spawned a prop but it seems the size of the prop looks equally big
in unscoped mode and scoped mode
I have tried tweaking the SWEP.ScopeZooms variable
but still unable to get the scope fixed
Things i have been doing with the pack before coming to fine tune the scope's zoom
1) Tweaking weapon's damage with accordance of ammunition type
2) Tweaking rate of fire to fit individual weapon's specifications (usage when switched on full auto, as well as rapid taping in close combats)
3) Tweaking recoil values
4) adding SWEP.ShellEffect = "none" to every weapon's lua (double shell ejection glitch from the latest patch i guess)
I have the pistol, shotgun & smg pack installed as well
but they are stored in seperate folders... not sure if the repeated bases lua will affect the scope
but random checking shows the bases lua is identical in content
