I swear I have seen that map before used on a medieval RP server... Though I could be wrong I guess...
Thank you for another constructive post. I can only agree again that the originality in clockwork schemas is going as all HL2RP servers are roughly the same as there isn't much to change. Same goes for most NewVegas.
And I agree that we did release this prematurely so I shall add some pictures of the map that I have been working on for for the past week. It has roughly 6 hours of work in it, give or take and it doesn't have lighting or a working skybox at the moment and I haven't added doors to a few locations as they can all wait.

This final image is the main keep of our whiterun style town. It is still not decorated but it does feature a raised platform for the throne, 3 back-rooms for the Jarl's advisor etc and the upstairs as shown in picture 1
I hate to tell you this, but currently your map is not good. It looks really blocky and unprofessionally made. I'd recommend using displacements for the grass instead of just a brush with a grass texture, and you should also use more brushes to make your buildings look less blocky.
Sorry that I can't work every hour of my life.
The screenshots are now above in the original post and my previous post.
If all you're going to do is be sarcastic and slate these very early development screenshots that are deprived of a lot of features at the moment then just don't comment and stop trolling the thread.
In future I will make the images smaller and I am working on the map a little bit each day.
I have also edited the OP and removed all the monetization sh**. Also don't send me hate messages or post if you don't like clockwork or you don't have anything nice to say. This is an ambitious gamemode yes but I am trying to make it work.
Rating everyone who criticizes you dumb is only going to hurt your reputation. Don't get so hostile and defensive over people criticizing you, a lot of the points raised in this thread have been valid.
Also, people weren't being sarcastic about your map being your bad, they were sarcastic because you didn't post any screenshots yet you posted "Map Screenshots:". Why didn't you just post the screenshots right away?
Give me the number for that yard guy.
I've never seen someone sculpt a front yard with such geometric precision.
So are there going to be dragons? So that players can be dragonborn.
oh dear, you should remove those map screenshots the thread was doing better before.
god i'm a dick but you're bound to find this out anyway
ps i hope you liked the gummy worms gif
With limitations completely taken away through Lua, where you are able to make every single one of your dreams come to life, you still decide to make a gamemode where 95% of gameplay is in the chat box.
Brilliant idea

god the fact that you even said that disgusts me, you're a terrible person. How could you say that about roleplay? I mean seriously... it's 98%, not 95%. get it right.

Some people prefer that kind of gameplay. Who are you to say that your way of playing the game is superior to anyone else's?

I thought you were making Skyrim, not Minecraft.

Can you just leave this thread alone? You're clearly the troll. This is simply a schema, not exactly an all out new gamemode.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind although as I have said, This is off a few hours work.
I was actually wondering why no one had done this already.
Can everyone stop being seriously impolite to the guy? He's trying a new thing.
NOBODY has done this yet, that I can see of, nobody has tried that effort, so why are you whining about it?!
Just get out of the thread and leave him alone if you don't like it.
Thank you to all that are showing support. I do agree that I shouldn't have released this thread early but its up now. I also have a very low tolerance so sorry if I come across as abit of a douche.
Your really going to attempt this with the actual elder scrolls franchise coming out with an mmo in 2014? Good luck with not getting sued by bethesda for ripping them off completely. I hope you dont, but it can happen.

Kurozael is yet to be sued for taking New Vegas and there are plenty of other examples around. Plus we will be releasing before 2014 and the price of the game is surely a let down. Anyway's thanks for commenting :)
I'm not actually sure you can take legal action by someone making worked based off your own. This isn't technically a product, and I doubt Bethesda would care if some Gmod community made a server based upon their game.
As long as you won't have to pay for this and you won't use Skyrim content then I don't think they'll sue you. That is, if lore isn't copyrighted too(I hope it's not).
I hope you'll get through the stage of being shit on by half of the forum, and actually get this done.
Can we start seeing images of the actual gamemode instead the map?
Can we start seeing images of the actual gamemode instead the map?
As I've said I cannot show the gamemode until I get a developers key from Kuro. Then the whole alpha will be live and you could join the server. And there isn't much in it yet other than 20+ items. I have all the factions and classes coded and most of the main code but I haven't been able to test it so I don't even know if its all working yet.
The problem with 95% of the weapons is that they don't have a viewmodel and I've never tried modelling so that would take awhile for me to do.
Then the problem with all the armours and most races is that they need to be player modelled too which would take like half an hour minutes tops as its just copying code into the .mdl file from another file but again, I couldn't set the software up correctly. Once we get a bunch of these armours done we could just headhack them to save on content downloads and modelling work.
I've actually been creating a bunch of player models over the past couple of days using the lord of the rings model pack. I have most of them already turned, but I don't think they'll be useful for your Skyrim roleplay.
I could do some Skyrim models for you but you need to find me the proper packs.

Yeah that would be great! Your friend Predator already told me about you and I'd be happy to have you on board.

You could always use the SWEP Construction Kit for your viewmodel problem, however it might be a bit buggy: http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1032378

Copying code from models to other models..? That's not how modelling works. The easiest way to be able to use your models without giving them any animations and be able to headhack them in-game would be by using Tiramisu 2: http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1166556
Its animation system is superb, and with some editing I think you'd have an easier time creating a TES RP schema for Tiramisu 2 rather than Clockwork.
--SNIP--
Thanks again for the feedback but I don't think you can actually create worldmodels with the SWEP construction kit, its mainly to modify existing ones.
And as for clockwork and Tiramisu, I will download Tiramisu now to take a look at but I don't think it will be able to cater to my needs as I'm more comfortable with clockwork now.

Tiramiu's clothing and animations system would make your life a lot easier. Just saying.
Oh and if I'm not mistaken I think you can make world models into view models with the SWEP Construction Kit?
You should listen to Jocken. Tiramisu has an amazing player creation system.

Last time I played Skyrim I didn't type into chat '/me fus ro dahs the dragon'
Anyone you ask would agree that Skyrim was enjoyable because you actually were involved in the combat, rather than being a narrator and /roll'ing whether your character died or not. This is just going to turn into what all the other clockwork gamemodes will be, which is someone dying in the chat box, and an admin coming in to resolve the situation because one party thought it was unfair.
