I Found a bug here lately. In multiplayer on a dedicated server, when you enter the chopper it keeps flying up and then suddenly it breaks

Do [b]not[/b] spawn the Combine Helicopter NPC, and if you have the huey still don't spawn the Helicopter NPC, because [b]YOU WILL CRASH[/b].
Gunships and other flying shit is alright.

Huey is an example of a good flying helicopter, only yours has good and bad things, and so does the huey.
I'll name a few;
Sakarias:
-Better Guns
-Better Model
-Switchable Guns
Huey:
-Better Flying
-Good hovering stabability
-Is noob-proof if they don't spam the weapons and know what the controls are.
If we mixed both, we could have two helicopters using the Huey's control and hovering, with both using good weapons.
Does he update the huey often, anyone?

The flying on the huey is pretty terrible honestly, its clunky and jerky and mostly redundant. The controls of this are smooth and flowing, it feels like its actually moving and not just changing positions every frame, and this hovers perfectly, much better than the huey, which is nothing short of impossible to get hovering properly.

My helicopter does not have anything in common with the hoverball script.
Except that both of them can hover.

I did try the helicopter in mulsiplayer before i released it.
The helicopter isn't the problem, some other kind of addon is.
If you could tell me which addon is causing the problem and I might be able to help you.

Sakarias, I know it doesn't, but imho it flys with me like it does. Hoverballs slide in a direction which means they can't really stop and stay still very easily, your helicopter does this to me and a few others agreed :/ we kept flying off and was very annoying to control when it kept spinning for no reason.
I think BitTorrent and UTorrent are from the same people. It also doesn't take 3 hours to download a 3Mb file, or 3 minutes. I spent some time with this in SP, rigged a Stargate shield to it. I noticed with owner immunity on, turret and guided missile fire can go through the shield, but the straight-fire missiles ricochet off the inside and hit the rotor, thus destroying my helichopter. So, the regular missiles don't act as a player-fired projectile?

Looking at the discussions of the Heli's cons and pros (That of the Huewey and Sak's one). I thought the best control style to build is the one used in Crysis.
Crysis Helicopters use mice controls I know, but they are the easiest helicopters to fly and use in any game I've played.
(Note, I haven't played ARMA or Battlefield so Arguments are welcome)
Because the Helicopter is responding to the mouse, it wont swing back too far. But the Roll is controlled by the keys, so it automaticly levels out. Sak's heli can't roll without rotating, and the Huey never levels out.
Sak's Heli IS still quite realistic though, it kinda reminds me of my RC one (like this: [url]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5u7Woo08_Jc[/url]). It just needs to have a bit more thrust when moving forward to it doesn't swing back to where you started. Helis only swing back if they're moved more than 40% for example.
