This is great! it would be perfect is combine shot at you while you were in the helicopter....does that only happen to me?
Edit: oh also, i love the perfect weight system on the propellers, i put a soda can on it and i was violently shaking the whole flight, it really is a great entity if i could just host a server and show it off

Nah but maybe some people could post ips for servers that has the helicopter ent installed.
I can then add them to a list in the first post.
This thing is awsome nice job. Its a little hard to steer though.
I want a faster and easier to steer version. That would make my day.

Its not the gravity, just the Main rotor is to high & the back rotor is rotating at an fully incorrect angle.
So just a good lua coder has to fix...

it seems like many people experience weird various problems with this. It worked like a charm from the get-go for me.. I don't know if I was just lucky or if it is in fact a requirement of some sort to this addon.
The controls make me want to break my keyboard. I crashed/got shot down on my server atleast 50 times last night before ragequitting. I always veer to the left and it's impossible to fly and shoot at the same time. :bang:
This addon is going to break my ability to fly in ArmA... :ohdear:
Nah, playing Saint's Row 2 didn't break my ability to drive in GTA IV. You should be fine.
I like to add a small fin to the back with low weight, makes it much more predictable and gives it proper weather cocking.

When I tried, I wan't hit by the blades. When I used bailout, I went up fine, and floated down until I was resting on the rotors. With jumpout, I fell above the helicopter, and still landed on the rotors.
Someone should get hold of a Chinook model and make it fly. I can see some awesome machinima in the future with that available :v:
